BEAUTIFUL MELASTI BEACH.
Melasti Beach, or Pantai Melasti as the locals know it, is a white sand beach in Ungasan, Bali, near Uluwatu. For a long time, the road out to Melasti Beach was terrible, but a local construction project has remedied that, and it's now home to several beach resorts.

beach in uluwatu
There are few beaches in Bali where you can swim. The most popular one is "Melasti". There are no waves and it is quite calm.

The southern part of Bali unexpectedly has an exotic feel of southern France. There are few tourists and almost all of them are locals who come to watch the sunset. Especially when the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the beach, the entire beach turns golden, which is called the "Golden hours". Whether you are a couple, friends or family traveler, it is definitely recommended to relax here.
💰Per capita consumption: Tickets for tourist attractions are charged (150,000 Indonesian rupiah)
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Sunset time is the best

A Tranquil Escape to Melasti Beach
#indonesiatrip
Visiting Melasti Beach in Bali was a serene retreat, offering some of the island’s most breathtaking coastal scenery. Nestled at the base of towering limestone cliffs in Ungasan, this hidden gem felt like a secret paradise, far from the usual tourist crowds.
The drive down the winding road to the beach was already an experience, with dramatic cliffs framing the deep blue ocean in the distance. As I reached the shore, I was met with powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and gentle waves lapping the coast. Unlike the busier beaches of Bali, Melasti felt peaceful, perfect for a relaxing escape.
I spent time walking along the shoreline, soaking in the beauty of the unspoiled landscape. The rock formations and secluded coves added a touch of adventure, making the beach feel even more special. The water was incredibly clear, inviting me for a refreshing swim. Floating in the calm waves, with the cliffs towering behind me, was a moment of pure tranquility.
As the day went on, I found a quiet spot to sit and watch the sun slowly descend toward the horizon. The golden light reflecting off the water, the sound of waves, and the salty breeze created a sense of complete relaxation.
Melasti Beach wasn’t just about its natural beauty—it was about the feeling of escaping into a peaceful, untouched paradise. It was a place to slow down, embrace the moment, and appreciate Bali’s coastal charm in its purest form.

Melasti Beach 🌊
Pantai Melasti Bali is mostly a place where people come to spend a full day out at the beach. There are not many options for water sports besides swimming in the calm, turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. The color is so beautiful. I love it so much 😍
It is one of the cleanest beaches in Bali and the perfect place to come and relax and soak up some Bali sun ☀️

This beach
This beach is a very good place to go! It's very beautiful, the water is clean, the sand is white and soft. I really recommend this beach if you want to sunbathing. Because the beach is pretty wide and it's not really crowded especially in low season. You can also takes tons of pics here because they also have beautiful cliffs view too!!!

Melasti Beach Bali
This is a beautiful beach to relax on, and it’s becoming one of the most popular beaches in south Bali, with lots of new beach clubs and all the facilities you need. Located at the most southern point of Bali, Melasti Beach is around an hour from Denpasar but relatively easy to get to. Melasti Beach has a long strip of white sand, clean turquoise water, and lots of facilities.#wonderfulindonesia

Beach life at Melasti, Bali
One of the best beaches in Bali. So zen with strong sun.
You want a helicopter ride? Yes, they have it. If money is no issue, do try the restaurant nearby called Ju Ma Na, encased with floor to ceiling glass wall for a little fine dining.
You want a sun tan? You'll definitely will get it at this beach, though be careful with the sun burnt (I got it after just an hour stay here omg). If you do not want to get a tan, do bring along your sunglasses, hat and /or umbrella to hide from the mighty sun!
Just chill, watch the sunset, have a coconut or a drink while watching the waves comes by.
