It has an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re overseas 🫧 This is a specialty store for buttermilk chicken, a soul food from the American South 🍔🍗 Baby J’s has many loyal fans, with pop-up stores in Tokyo, Sapporo, Hakata, and other places, and they sell out within a few hours of going on sale. The long-awaited first brick-and-mortar store in Tokyo The signature menu item is the “Fried Chicken Sandwich.” The crunchy chicken was very satisfying to eat 🥺✨ It was so filling that we shared half, but we were full 🤣🤣 On the opening day at 11:30, there was a line after 12 o’clock! The second branch of Parklet, a bakery cafe in Nihonbashi with roots in San Francisco and California cuisine. They are famous for their natural yeast bread, meals made with ingredients sourced from producers with whom they have carefully built relationships, and natural wine. They also serve open sandwiches and salads, just like the first branch. There is also one of the largest brick silos in Japan, and the pink cherry blossoms look particularly beautiful under the blue sky. The lights are on at night and the silos are illuminated. You can see the different expressions of cherry blossoms at night and during the day. Although the weather is getting warmer, it's still a bit cold, so I think it's better to wear warm clothes. It was great to see the cherry blossoms, said to be the last to bloom in eastern Hokkaido, so beautiful.
