Challenging yet accessible for all abilities is one of the best ways to describe the cycling route that clings onto the cliffs of the north western shores of Lake Garda. The road known as the Ponale is a mountain biking route that takes you from the town of Riva del Garda right up through the mountains and ending up on the shore of the alpine Lake Ledro. The road around Lake Garda’s western boundary and its tunnels are stunning enough and were of course used for the James Bond film mThe quantum of Solace’ however, the original road may be even better. The now converted road which is shared between hikers and mountain bikers starts at Riva del Garda and clings to the cliff as it climbs in altitude. As you pass through tunnels built in 19th alongside defensive buildings, built during the First World War you don’t only get the sense of the beauty of nature here but also its importance historically. Once you have travelled around 3km you can either turn back or carry on towards either the village of pregasina or cut away from Lake Garda towards lake ledro and it’s beautiful valley #100waysoftravel

A day in Malta covering loads of spots - we went to Sliema and ate crepes. There is even a McDonald’s overseeing the sea. Mosta Dome is an interesting visit, a little fee for tourists entering and you can see WWII shelters. In Bugibba we went to a restaurant called ocean basket where you will have the best seafood ever. Great meal and decent priced. Can get seating overseeing the sea and we ended the day with some sightseeing in Valetta!#mytripvlog #malta
