Centennial Legend: Manzhouli Hotel, The Perfect Stay!
🎈Hey friends, today I want to introduce you to an amazing hotel - Manzhouli Hotel!
💖Founded in 1904 by Russian General Mr. Nijin, it was originally called Nijin Inn. It used to be a bustling gathering place for dignitaries on the Sino-Russian border.
💫Over a hundred years later, it still stands on the Sino-Soviet Pedestrian Street. Inside, you can see the 1903 Eastern Railway tracks and old items from its early days, making you feel like you've traveled back in time. Today, it is a century-old brand in Inner Mongolia and a famous trademark, a shining symbol of local history and culture.
🛏The rooms include Russian-style suites and family rooms, with high-quality linens and ultra-comfortable Mlily zero-pressure mattresses that can be voice-controlled for convenience. It has won Ctrip's Best Hotel Award for eight consecutive years, proving its excellence!
🍽On the second floor, the Nijin Russian Restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes that you won't be able to stop eating. The terrace outside the restaurant is the perfect place to dine and enjoy the experience.
🎽The hotel also features a self-service laundry room, gym, meeting rooms, and 24-hour butler service. Notably, historical figures have stayed here, and the terrace is a popular spot for taking in the beautiful Sino-Soviet scenery.
Address: 141 Zhongsu Street, Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
Friends, this century-old hotel is worth experiencing!

I haven't been abroad! This is Manzhouli, China!
Manzhouli can be considered as a recent stop where I had no expectations, yet it was full of surprises.
I went there in April, and unexpectedly, I still needed a thick coat in the morning and evening due to the significant temperature difference. Friends who go there during the summer, remember to bring a coat.

🌈 Mammoth Park and Matryoshka Hotel/Matryoshka Park, it's enough to just take some photos at the entrance of these two places, no need to buy tickets to go inside.
🇨🇳 The National Gate, I bought a ticket to go inside, 128 yuan per person, which allows you to visit the National Gate and the observation deck. However, it's just a brief look at the border of Russia, Mongolia, and China, and the ticket price is a bit high.
🚘 You can rent a car or hire one to go to the grasslands and Hulun Lake for a visit. It was my first time on the grasslands, and it was really beautiful. The clouds were thick and low, and the sky was super blue. But I went there in early June, and the grass wasn't very green yet, it will be greener in July/August. 👗 I suggest renting Mongolian traditional clothing to take some photos on the grassland. However, there are not many places to rent clothes in Manzhouli, Angar Youth Hostel has very characteristic clothes for both men and women, you can go and check it out. I took photos in 2 sets of clothes, and they turned out pretty well.
🏨
Many people recommend the Matryoshka Hotel, but I stayed for one night and it was a bit creepy. I heard that the price goes up to 2000 yuan per night during the summer. That's a big no for me.
You can stay at the Manzhouli Hotel, a century-old establishment, which still retains the decoration style of the past, making you feel like you've traveled back in time.
⚠️
For transportation, it's actually quite convenient to rent a car for a self-driving tour. If you hire a car, it generally costs 150-200 yuan per day. For daily taxi rides, just call Didi.

🌈 Hulunbuir travel tips:
▪️ What to wear: You can wear doll dresses, lolita style skirts, which are very suitable for the fairy tale temperament here, khaki trench coats and denim blue also fit the city's color tone
▪️ How to get there: Manzhouli has its own airport, if you only want to visit Manzhouli you can fly directly to this airport;
However, it's rare to visit Hulunbuir, so like most people, I flew to Hailar Airport and then arranged a 5-7 day joint tour from Hailar to Manzhouli, grasslands, forests, wetlands, rivers, cliffs, fairy tale villages, castle-shaped cities all in one go, it's recommended to rent an off-road vehicle, you can also visit some niche free attractions
▪️ Where to stay: Matryoshka Hotel (most fairy tale-themed colors), Manzhouli Hotel (century-old Russian theme, good location)
Manzhouli also has many affordable accommodations, but the price difference between the off-peak and peak seasons is quite large, ranging from 100-1000+ in various styles and specifications, however, if you book a chartered car tour, accommodation is generally included, so you don't have to worry about it
▪️ Special souvenirs: Russian chocolate, Inner Mongolian milk candy, dried meat, milk skins, and other dairy products
