Took a didi to the village which is about 30-40 minutes from downtown Jinghong. The fare to get there is well worth it - did pottery and flower pictures and they even can teach you how to do tapestry! Food available on every corner by the locals! Probably our best day out and great to keep children occupied!

One of my favourite parts of this visit was spitting all the different dragon sculptures as part of the temples. Go to see traditional Dai performances, buy fresh grown fruit and have a walk around a traditional town.
