Mandarin Oriental Taipei
Come to unpack Mandarin Oriental Taipei!
I believe that many many have also been stayed at this hotel, this time I have the opportunity to experience the Mandarin Oriental's service quality!
This time is to celebrate our anniversary, I have informed the hotel in advance so there are special decorations in the room. A box of beautiful marshmallows and handwritten cards are attached on the table
It was really shocking at night... After we went to have dinner, we found that the housekeeping staff had already helped us turn down the room. I was surprised that everything on the dresser was neatly arranged and all the bathroom supplies were filled!
during check out, I have stop by the bakery and buy some bread. when I’m trying to make payment the checkout system malfunctioned! The bakery manager specially sent us a jar of red heart guava jam as a token of apology for the wait
The Mandarin Oriental experience this time was really one of the best so far in Taipei. Wherever you requested something, the Mandarin Oriental service staff will always try to make it happen!

Mandarin Oriental Hotel MO. Bar.
💞Recommended Reasons:
💎MO. Bar is a staple in every Mandarin Oriental hotel. As a bar in a five-star hotel, the mixology skills are undeniably top-notch, and the base spirits are meticulously selected.
💎Jacko Chang, the head bartender at the MO. Bar in Mandarin Oriental Taipei, won the 2015 DIAGEO WORLD CLASS Taiwan Championship.
💎The cocktails are crafted with seasonal fruits unique to Taiwan and are also inspired by Taiwan's diverse climates. For example, there's a unique cocktail that captures the salty taste of the ocean while giving off a refreshing summer vibe.
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities:
💎The bar features dim, intimate lighting and decor, providing a private space for those who want to enjoy their drinks and conversations. There is also a live DJ performance at 9 PM, playing avant-garde and relaxing tunes, not heavy electronic music, so conversations aren't disrupted.
💎They also offer delicious light snacks to pair with the drinks, such as truffle fries and shrimp salad. Other snacks like nuts and rice crackers are complimentary and can be refilled.
💰Average Cost: $400-$600 TWD per person

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Taipei experience, considerate but not much
A year has passed, and this time I came back to Taiwan and chose the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Taipei.
Room type: Deluxe room
Recommended: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Catering: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Excellent)
Transportation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (remote from the MRT station)
Value for money:💰💰
The hotel is located in Songshan District, about 10-15 minutes away from the MRT station. On the way, we will pass many open-air places without tiles to cover our heads, as well as abandoned community buildings. The first impression is that it is a bit remote.
When checking in, I felt Mandarin Oriental's usual warmth and thoughtfulness, and the counter staff spoke Cantonese. Another staff member immediately handed over a cold towel and a welcome drink called "Signature" - Roselle, Longan and Wintermelon water made with local ingredients.
Whether it is the lobby, the passage leading to the room, or the guest room, you can feel the careful design and layout of the building's interior.
The room size is okay, with a walk-in closet, separate toilet, and bathroom with shower stall and bathtub. Like the previous Mandarin, there are two wash basins for family members to use together.
The room was supposed to have a crystal lamp, but it was removed for unknown reasons. Therefore, the ceiling space at the bottom of the building looks relatively high.
The bottom of the bed is an elevated design, and every time I lie down on it, there is a little rattling sound, which makes it feel strangely unstable.
In terms of landscape, it is mainly in the European resort style surrounding the hotel. It is surrounded by residential buildings. There is really no beautiful scenery to speak of.
While the curtains are electronically controlled, the window screens are held in place with Velcro. Every time I stay at Mandarin, I am "surprised" by its window screens. Last time, they could only be reduced by half.
I had breakfast at the Mandarin Cafe. Although there were a lot of people and I had to wait almost every time, the quality of the food and the wide variety were highly recommended.
Back to the room, neither the welcome fruit nor the turn-down dessert was provided.
The standard of room service is also a bit strange. The person in charge of turndown service did not help tie the wires when we checked in on the first night. Only the room attendant did it on the second night; bathroom supplies were not placed on towels until the last night; I placed the TV remote control on the bedside near the window, and the staff would put it back on the bedside near the bathroom every night. If this operation is said to be SOP, it is understandable and reasonable, but on the last night Then he suddenly placed it on the bedside near the window.
So overall, this Mandarin is considerate but not too much. If it is qualified according to the standards of a five-star hotel, but from the perspective of Mandarin guests, "This Mandarin is indeed not Mandarin enough."

Mandarin Oriental Taipei: Luxurious Five-Star Hotel with European Classical Palace Style
Mandarin Oriental Taipei, located at the intersection of Dunhua North Road and Minsheng East Road, features a European classical palace style in its decor. Perhaps due to the use of the original building space, the light from each lamp in the rooms shines on the ceiling like a work of art! The bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, bath salts, and body lotion, all specially made for Mandarin Oriental Taipei by a top French fragrance brand, with a delightful citrus and orange blossom scent. The outdoor heated swimming pool area is my favorite spot. Mandarin Oriental truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most luxurious brands among five-star hotels!

The benchmark of luxury hotels in Taiwan: Mandarin Oriental, Taipei
The branch of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is a hotel with a European classical architectural facade, and it is said to be close to Taipei's Little Giant Egg building, the Formosa Plastics Group building, and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan.
The hotel's exterior and some of its interior decorations are very grand and majestic in the style of ancient European decor, but there are also some contemporary Western humorous and quirky decorations inside, such as the rabbit in the courtyard.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel is originally a famous luxury hotel brand, and the decorations in the hotel lobby, restaurant, and various designs in the guest rooms all leave a lasting impression.

A sophisticated and romantic five-star hotel—Mandarin Oriental
After so many trips to Taipei, I finally stayed at the Mandarin Oriental.
MO is considered the most expensive hotel in Taipei
Because I generally prefer to stay at the W Hotel in the Xinyi District when visiting Taiwan
After staying 8 nights at MO, I found once again that it's better to stay near the Xinyi District
So I probably won't choose Mandarin Oriental next time
I must say, the service quality at Taipei's Mandarin Oriental is really good
For Asian hotels, it's really quite excellent! The rooms are especially thoughtful and spacious
The European-style design and the comfortable color scheme made for a very cozy stay. The hotel's breakfast is very rich
Every day in Taiwan really starts with the hotel's breakfast and ends with eating out in Taipei, which is a must-do
The hotel's swimming pool and spa are also great
As soon as I arrived in Taiwan, I bought my favorite Xiang Shuai taro cream roll and Hong Rui Zhen sandwiches
Alone in the hotel room, I devoured the entire cake roll and 3 sandwiches
Alone in the hotel room, I devoured the entire cake roll and 3 sandwiches
Of course, the first meal in Taipei is definitely the much-anticipated Wulao Pot hotpot, which was incredibly satisfying
Dinner and after a night market stroll, going to Xiao Pin for late-night snacks and gourmet food is just so happy and blissful!
