Madrid, Spain: A symphony of art and life in four movements.
Whether you're feeling the Spanish spirit through a passionate flamenco performance or revisiting the Golden Age through its historical heritage, whether you're embarking on a culinary journey through restaurants both old and new or enjoying top-notch service in a luxury hotel, every corner of Madrid tells a story of legend and vibrant life.
As the heart of Spain, Madrid is a treasure trove of culture and history, and a synonym for the art of living. From world-renowned cultural heritage and flamenco dancing for all tastes to the football passion of Real Madrid, from centuries-old restaurants and Michelin-starred tables to wine tastings at wineries, from luxury hotels in the city to diverse shopping experiences... Madrid's art of living permeates every corner. Here, travel is not just a sightseeing tour, but a way to enjoy Madrid's unique lifestyle through various experiences.
/Cultural Heritage: The Golden Triangle Outside the City/
Madrid's deep cultural roots extend beyond the city. A 40-minute drive from the city center takes you to three unique cultural and architectural sites listed as World Heritage: San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Aranjuez, and Alcala de Henares. These three sites form a Golden Triangle around Madrid, easily accessible and offering a rich and complementary network of historical heritage.
/Flamenco: The Burning Soul of Madrid/
A trip to Madrid wouldn't be complete without seeing a flamenco performance. This art form, combining music and dance, is recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. And Madrid is considered by many to be the flamenco capital. From small taverns to large theaters, flamenco performances take place every day.
Corral de la Moreria, a Michelin-starred restaurant with 68 years of history, is one of the oldest flamenco taverns in Madrid. Almost all top flamenco artists have performed here. After enjoying a Michelin-starred meal, you can watch a heart-pounding flamenco performance. Captivating melodies, rapid-fire drumbeats, and passionate dance steps make flamenco one of the best ways to experience Madrid's life and rhythm.
/Football: Passion on the Green Field/
Football is another calling card of Madrid. The city boasts top-tier teams like Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, as well as other strong teams like Rayo Vallecano, Getafe, and Leganés. Numerous football stadiums and year-round exciting matches showcase the Madrilenians' love for the sport. Even if you can't watch a game live, don't miss the city's football stadiums. For many fans, visiting the Bernabéu Stadium is like a pilgrimage. This legendary stadium is the home ground of Real Madrid, 14-time Champions League winners. The stadium has just been renovated. On May 29th and 30th, Taylor Swift will hold two concerts here.
3 Top-Tier Culinary Delights
/Traditional Flavors: Classic Dishes Passed Down Through Generations/
Madrid is a city where tradition and modernity coexist, and its cuisine reflects this. It embraces the new without forgetting the old. Casa Botin, founded in 1725, is recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Oldest Restaurant in the World." Roast suckling pig is the restaurant's specialty, still roasted in the same oven used 299 years ago, with fresh suckling pigs transported from Segovia. Hemingway even praised it in his novel "The Sun Also Rises," calling Casa Botin "one of the best restaurants in the world."
Casa Alberto, founded in 1827, is another must-visit centenarian restaurant. Its stewed beef and codfish balls showcase the classic flavors of Madrid. Lhardy, with 185 years of history, is a symbol of Madrid's refined cuisine. It was once a gourmet paradise where countless cultural and political elites gathered.
/Michelin Awards: A "Starry" Feast with Diverse Styles/
Madrid has 28 Michelin-starred restaurants. Each chef brings their own creativity and talent, perfectly blending traditional flavors with modern culinary techniques, to deliver meticulously prepared dishes to your table. DiverXo is an innovative and avant-garde Michelin three-star restaurant. Young and imaginative chef David Munoz combines Mediterranean and Chinese cuisine, taking diners on a unique culinary journey. Deessa, a Michelin two-star restaurant located in the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, combines the culture and culinary techniques of different countries, offering guests a dazzling feast for the senses.
/Grape Wine: A Life of Wine with a Slight Buzz/
If you're a wine lover, be sure to schedule a winery tour and immerse yourself in the wine-scented Madrid. Madrid wine has a history of over 900 years. In 1990, the Madrid wine region was recognized as a DO (High Quality Designation of Origin) region.

There is no way to describe this hotel other than exquisite in every way. Of the hundreds of 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at, this is probably the top. Impeccable service from a staff that is just so eloquent in every way and eager to assist, the rooms are stunningly beautiful and new with the best technology. The gym and spa are just as in pictures, like from another planet. The opulence and grandeur and luxury in every corner is unmatched and worth every penny. The restaurants and bars are of excellent quality and design, and the best part was the service our dog received while here since they are pet friendly. Everyone knew his name and treated him as a guest.
