The mahogany forest is located near the Chocolate Hills, a sheep intestine path in Bohol Province, Bohol Island. The path is full of mahogany trees. This is a man-made forest. During the Second World War, in order to avoid the war, a large number of local people fled into the forest, which made the deforestation of the Luobo River Basin quite serious. The local government established the Luobo River Basin Afforestation Project (LWRP) in 1947. Promote greening and planting artificial forests. After decades of hard work, this dense forest is lined with trees, the air is fresh, and there are tree-lined paths in the middle of the forest. It should be very pleasant to walk around here.
The man-made forest is a blissful spot Bilar, Bohol that will definitely delight nature lovers. Its pleasant sight is simply soothing to the eyes because of the forest’s lush green trees and majestic formation. Passing by its long tree tunnel is simply gratifying especially if you’re used to the loud and heavy traffic of the city.
Bilar man-made forest mostly of mahogany is located on the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. It is about 40 kilometers away and approximately 50 minutes travel from Tagbilaran City. Vehicles going to Chocolate Hills in Carmen regularly pass along this route making it a popular stop for tourists.#manmadeforest #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog #summervacation

Man Made Forest Bohol (also known as Bilar Man Made Forest) is one of the most popular Bohol attractions and not to be missed on your travels around the island.
When you enter this parallel tunnel of trees, you’ll feel like you’ve just entered another realm.
You will also notice the temperature drop drastically as you drive through the man-made forest Bohol because the canopy above almost completely cuts out the sun.

Had fun visiting the famous Manmade forest
This picture was taken when we have our tour in Bohol. This was our first destination and I can definitely recommend you to go here. The place is so amazing and now I understand why it is one of the tourist spot in Bohol.
The place has fresh air and you can see a lot of trees. It is also a relaxing place that you can go. However, this place is a bit far from the city since it is inside the Island.
Your from Panglao Airport to this place is about 46.6 kilometers away and this is about 2 hours by ride. I must say that this is worth the time travel as this is a one time experience. I will surely go back here and will bring my family.
