This exquisitely restored boutique hotel has the makings of a truly memorable stay – resplendent rooms, fabulous facilities as well as a phenomenal range of food and drinks - The Guest Lounge offers a cosy and casual dining environment serving up delicious food and drinks… It features hanging plants, pendant lights and artwork such as 2D depictions of furniture or artefacts. There are chairs and couches in different colours and textures for your seating comfort. #2024wish 📍Macalister Mansion 228, Jalan Macalister, 10400 George Town, Pulau Pinang We had a lovely and delightful high tea session in Macalister Mansion, Penang! We were there during Christmas season and the high tea was exquisite and delicate! Pleasant and cozy ambiance, lovely place with comfortable seats! We took a lot of photos while visiting! There is also a beautiful pool outside of the hotel! The high tea set came in savoury food and sweets, you literally get the best of both world! Great presentation of food and they also incorporated Christmas theme in the dessert! The food was also served with liquid nitrogen that creates the effect of smoke, how pretty! In 2024, I wish to travel to Seoul!

An excellent hotel! The building dates from the colonial era and is very nicely done up! Only 8 rooms here and they are all unique in their own ways. The rooms are huge and so's the shower/vanity area. Each evening, the staff comes in to turn down your bed. Linen is crisp and clean. The dining room and the living room has excellent food and we also enjoyed after-dinner whiskey at bar. Will defintely come back to try out the other rooms. #malaysia

I came to Macalister Mansion for high tea and discovered a gem. So I went back for a staycation. I booked one night around 770 RM and included two way transfers. I have selected some of my best photos taken at Macalister Mansion. The hotel has many art pieces and are perfect for your photo backdrop. My room has a wonderful bathtub with floor to ceiling designed tiles. My room is approx 40sqm and facing the pool. It also has a mini living room, perfect for a nightcap. The hotel is also within owalking distance to many eateries. #penang #malaysia
