Kenyan Maasai village
The Kenyan Maasai village is located in the famous Maasai Mara National Park. The entire village is very primitive, and all buildings are built with branches. In order to prevent wild animals from entering the village, a circle of thorny branches is surrounded on the outside. Most of Kenya is a plateau area, with the East African Rift Valley running from north to south, bordering Tanzania, Uganda, Somalia, etc.; the land area is 580,000 square kilometers, and the population is less than 30 million, and the indigenous people are Maasai.
The Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservation Area was established in 1961, spanning the borders of Kenya and Tanzania, with an area of 1,800 square kilometers. It is the earliest wildlife conservation area in the world. However, it is worth noting that in 1961, Kenya was still in the British colonial period, and the colonial government took away the land and wildlife resources from the Maasai in the name of the country for free.
In addition, the travel guide points out that the travel season of Maasai Mara is from June to October each year. During this time, the climate is pleasant and animals are active. Transportation: Fly from Nairobi or Nakuru.

I went to Maasai Mara during the migration and I’m certain that I will never forget the experience! I stayed in a luxury tented camp on the reservation and the animals that I saw the entire not not just during game drives were incredible! I saw all the big 5 animals and everything I mentioned my guide was able to locate. If you have the opportunity I would suggest visiting.

Kenya | A Wild and Poetic Encounter
| A Wild and Poetic Encounter
🌍 You must visit Kenya at least once in your life! It is a kingdom of animals, a treasure trove of nature, and a home for the soul.
Masai Mara National Reserve, witness the miracle of life. Wildebeests gallop like thunder, a desire for survival, a pursuit of freedom. The roar of lions echoes across the grasslands, showing the king's demeanor. 🐾 Zebras graze leisurely, their stripes crisscrossing, contrasting with the elegant posture of giraffes.
Lake Nakuru, a pink ocean of flamingos. Thousands of flamingos gather here, either foraging or flying, dyeing the sky and lake with dreamy colors, breathtakingly beautiful. 💕
Amboseli National Park, the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. At the foot of the mountain, elephant families walk slowly, huge and gentle, as if they are the guardians of this land.
In addition to animals, Kenya also has hospitable people. In the villages of the Maasai, experience a unique culture. Their colorful costumes and dancing tell ancient stories.
Accommodation ranges from luxury tent camps to cozy cabins, falling asleep to the whispers of animals at night and waking up to the first rays of sunshine in the morning.
It is recommended to choose a four-wheel drive vehicle for transportation, so you can better gallop across the grasslands and wilderness. The best time to travel is during the dry season, and the animal migration is even more spectacular.
Kenya is a dialogue with nature, a baptism of the soul. ✨ Come here and start your East African journey!

Kenya//How can you not go to Africa to see the animals?
When you come to Kenya🇰🇪, you will find that people and nature can live in such harmony! On this vast land, animals live and play freely!
✅Preparation: ⚠️You must get a yellow fever vaccine 15 days in advance, and this yellow booklet will be checked upon entry! ⚠️You must buy a phone card, the network there is not good! ⚠️Bring a British standard conversion plug🔌
✅Kenya peak season time⌚️: July-October, you can see the spectacular scene of animal migration, but the price is also very expensive
Kenya off-season time⌚️: January-March, fewer tourists, cheap prices but you can see the large animals you should see! (I chose to go in the off-season, and the overall feeling is still very good)
✅Must-visit attractions: Masai Mara: The annual shocking migration takes place here
Amboseli: Mount Kilimanjaro is here
Pink flamingo🦩: Nakuru
✅Other: Bring a camera📷 to take pictures may be better, in addition, bring Lao Gan Ma, the food there is really not used to it!!

Why is it said that Kenya is suitable for travel all year round?
Indeed, from June to October each year, the Maasai Mara National Reserve witnesses the world-famous Great Migration, the largest animal migration on Earth: the wildebeest migration. Millions of wildebeests gather, accompanied by zebras and antelopes, with predators following closely behind. The thrilling scene is worthy of the saying 'a must-visit in one's lifetime'. Therefore, everyone thinks of setting off in the summer at the first opportunity. If you have a generous budget and just happen to have paid leave, Kenya's golden migration season welcomes you. However, don't assume that you can witness the spectacular wildebeest river crossing just by being there during these months; it also requires a lot of patience and luck. Additionally, here are a few highlighted tips, let's take a look:
⚠❌It's not true that there are no animals to see outside of the migration season. How could that be! In terms of numbers, the Kenyan savannah is home to countless animals, and only a small part of them participate in the Great Migration. In terms of species, besides the wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes that take part in the migration, there are many other types of animals living in the Maasai Mara, which is their lifelong home. Therefore, a considerable number of wild animals can be seen in Kenya throughout the year.
⚠❌You don't have to choose the migration season to see lions hunting. That's a bit biased! Lions and cheetahs wish they could eat every day, and hunting happens all the time.
⚠❌Don't go during the rainy season. That's a deep misunderstanding! Kenya doesn't have four seasons, only a dry season and a rainy season, with the long rains from March to May and the short rains in November and December. However, the rainy season doesn't mean continuous rain every day like the monsoon season; rainfall mainly occurs at night or in the early morning, meaning it's still possible to have sunny days. Therefore, Kenya's rainy season is not as unfriendly as imagined. On the contrary, it is a favorite time for many internationally renowned photographers.

The truth is indeed hard to hear, but it is the real situation of tourism in Africa!
The truth is indeed hard to hear😥, but it is the real situation of tourism in Africa..
Let's talk about the big truth of the current situation of tourism in Africa📝
Although it's hard to hear, this is the situation, and I hope it will be of some practical help to those who want to come to Africa❗❗❗
🔹
1. Safari is dusty, prepare a dirty clothes bag in advance to separate from clean clothing🧳
🔹
2. Be sure to book your accommodation in advance🏠!!! To avoid the situation where the hotel you want to stay in is fully booked
🔹
3. Be sure to choose a lodge or camp inside the park⛺, to experience the most beautiful moments of the park in the morning and evening. Staying outside the park means being far from the national park, spending more time on the road, and the animals are more active in the morning and evening
🔹
4. After a day of Safari, you'll be covered in dust😷, remember to prepare disposable bath towels according to the number of days of your trip
🔹
5. Due to animals frequently dying from ingesting plastic bags🛍, the use of plastic bags has been restricted in Kenya since 2017
🔹
6. If you have plastic bags, meat, fruits🍏, etc., after unpacking, you will be taken to a small room to pay a fine
🔹
7. Wear holey shoes/sandals, often need to stand on chairs to see animals, and they are also convenient for walking
🔹
8. Bring medicine for stomach and treatment for diarrhea💊, the dust on Safari is heavy, it's best to bring a mask, and if you have rhinitis, bring something for cleaning
🔹
9. Kenya safari requires a Yellow Book📔, you need to go to the International Travel Health Care Center for vaccination, it is recommended to go 1-2 months in advance during the peak season, otherwise, if the reservation is too late, you may have to go to the neighboring city to get the shot💉
🔹
10. The 'Great Migration' of animals is so famous that everyone thinks that outside of June to September, the animals🐘 in Kenya have all gone! In fact, Kenya has dozens of national parks🏕 and reserves, such as Amboseli, Nakuru, Samburu, etc., where the number of animals is basically constant and does not migrate, and you can see them at any time

Africa, have you ever dreamed of it? This is my base camp
Africa, a distant and mysterious country. The scene you can imagine must be the great migration in the animal world, the five hegemony, everywhere...
From 2015 to the present, I have landed on the African continent countless times. My love for it, in addition to the inherent attributes of the animal planet, is more about tribal culture and unique colors, and of course the most beautiful sunrise and sunset.

Tasty Trips
Africa has left me with unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime
You must go to Africa to see the animals if you have the chance! The 7 days of safari in Kenya were like a dream, and I have selected 10 shining moments to share my joy with you.
🟡1 Wildebeest crossing the river
Who would have thought that we would catch the long-delayed wildebeest crossing the river in mid-September? Thousands of wildebeest that had just successfully crossed the river surrounded us, more shocking than the scenes in documentaries.
🟡2 Unparalleled breakfast view
We saw the wildebeest crossing the river twice in two days, the second time on a larger scale, and it was right in front of us eating breakfast at the hotel. Words can't describe such luck and my excitement at the time, I have shared the specific experience in the notes a few days ago.
🟡3 Cheetah hunting
In the case of limited time, waiting 6 hours for a hunt is actually very luxurious. But I am very glad we made this choice, it was very worth it.
🟡4 Elephants crossing the road
In Amboseli, I took the photo of my dreams - a group of elephants crossing the road in a line against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro, more dreamy than a postcard.
🟡5 Lion roaring
On our last game drive in Amboseli, we came across a male lion roaring as we left the park. We could even clearly see its belly writhing as it roared, the guide said this is a very rare scene.
🟡6 Elephant suddenly appearing two meters away
Not long after our car left the hotel in Amboseli, we suddenly encountered two elephants eating grass by the road, only about two meters away from me in a straight line, I felt I could touch its raised nose if I reached out (of course I couldn't).
🟡7 Picnic in Tanzania
The Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania are the same grassland, our guide drove directly over the monument at the Kenya-Tanzania border in the heart of the grassland, let us picnic under a beautiful tree in Tanzania, giving us a rare sense of ceremony during the hard hunting.
🟡8 Elephants and sunset
One evening in Amboseli, we saw a group of elephants enjoying dinner in the rose-colored sunset. Everything around was silent, the scene was incredibly peaceful and beautiful.
🟡9 Eye contact with a giraffe
A giraffe curiously stopped as it passed our car, its innocent, moist eyes met mine, its lips were red, it was extremely cute.
🟡10 Morning moon and sunrise
We got up at 5:30 in the morning to start the day's game, and what greeted us was the bright waning moon on the Masai Mara grassland. We drove towards the sunrise, watching the horizon gradually dyed red by the morning glow, I couldn't help but hear the bgm of 'The Lion King' in my head.

Safari Chronicles: Misadventures in Wildlife Identification
"Look, a young fawn!"
"Eh, Maria! You're the young one here; this is a fully grown dik-dik."
"Big dik-dik?"
"Dik-dik. They're always seen in pairs and never larger than 25 centimeters."
Alright, let's try again.
"And there, the long-necked antelope that... had a fling with a giraffe? Why does it have a giraffe's body but a neck of an antelope?"
"That's a gerenuk or 'giraffe gazelle,' but it's not related to giraffes. Although, it can stand on its hind legs and reach the top of a tree with that neck."
And in the distance, Timon and Pumbaa, just as if Hakuna Matata had come to life near Kilimanjaro. By the way, lions do hunt Pumbaa, so the movie was a bit misleading. And there, in the shade of the bushes, lies a leopard, and there... well, someone got eaten. Thankfully, not us.

The Quest for Lions: A Safari Adventure
At first, we were excited about finding lions. The next three hours, we saw no animals at all. We roamed through the bush, dodging thorns, trying not to swallow huge beetles flying our way.
"Look, there were antelopes!" we hinted. "And rhinos. And some birds."
"Birds, birds," Kevin muttered, squinting into the bushes.
"We'd love to find antelopes! Maybe a giraffe?"
The jeep abruptly stopped.
"Giraffe? Look, there's a giraffe, and there are two more over there. See?"
"We sort of see," we replied. "It's just hard to see because it's getting dark."
"Alright, let's head back. Tomorrow, we'll wake up at 5 am and search for lions."
The only right way to behave in distant lands is to assume that the locals know best. A lion is a lion, and 5 am is 5 am.
In the morning, we found a lion. Not right away. It was sleeping in the shade by the road. We got close. Someone sneezed loudly. The beast woke up, yellow eyes gleaming, and roared. We got scared. The lion leaped from the car in one bound; we had no guns. The difference between a safari and a zoo became glaringly evident. Meanwhile, the lion flipped onto its back, tucked its paws like a kitten, and closed its eyes.
Closing the gestalt, we returned to our camp.
In the morning, our @finchhattons cottage was surrounded by antelopes. They grazed on the lawns, peered into windows, sniffed camera lenses. There were so many antelopes for so long that we got tired of photographing them. After all, there are 40,000 antelopes here.
Would you dare go on such a safari? Do you think we eventually found lions?

Traveling in Hanfu has always been my dream. This time I brought Hanfu to Kenya in Africa to see the truest side of the African continent.
African continent, using a purely original scene to interpret a spectacle called "Nature." This is the most authentic existence at the beginning of human beings. Nature is truly the most gratifying sight in the world. Animals use the most natural nature to tell people what is instinct.
Do your homework before you go to see "Out of African" (out of Africa), and suddenly hope for it. When you come to East Africa, the nature under the real scene will make everything better.
Luna..
For thousands of years, there has been such a place, repeatedly playing the "Song of the Prairie".
Thousands of wildebeests cross the life of the Mara River, hordes of zebras running on the grasslands, lions cheetahs chasing the prey of spectacular scenery, horses at the border between Kenya and Tanzania The Samara Prairie is just around the corner. The animals are vast, lined up in different formations, and the rumored animal migration, all this incredible, will be the most shocking time of your life.
Africa's five hegemons refer to African lions, African elephants, African buffalos, African leopards and rhinos. These amazing creatures can be found in the Masai Mara National Park.
Masai Mara is undoubtedly another world on earth, this world belongs only to animals. More than 90 species of mammals and more than 450 species of birds live in more than 4,000 square kilometers of wildlife sanctuaries, including Kenya and Tanzania. Everything is the original appearance of nature. Walking into the Masai Mara, the first feeling is definitely sinister and fearful, but then you will feel what is true peace and tranquility. There is no news broadcast every day to publicize songs and dances, but in reality, everyone is at risk. In the pure animal world, whoever wants to eat is bound to be destined, and there is a new life behind the killing of each food chain. Therefore, the animal world does not need unspoken rules and strategies. They each have their own living methods, and each living method has its own wonderful.
Of course, on such a vast grassland, with the open-top off-road vehicle, take a fashion blockbuster in minutes~
