However, its findings were not comparable in any way to the exhibits of the Cairo Museum of Antiquities, which contains the most wonderful treasures of the ancient Egyptian civilization inside Egypt. Among the museum's most amazing exhibits is a collection of artifacts that were within the tomb of King Tutankhamun, as well as statues representing the era of the New Kingdom, which were found hidden near Luxor Temple in 1989 AD. In the Luxor Museum, there is a mummy exhibition area, in addition to two well-preserved mummies, there are also many burial objects unearthed from Luxor, and the one that caught my eye the most were the 4 containers used to preserve the mummy internal organs! Duamutef, the head god of hunting dogs: protects the stomach, symbolizing strength and guarding. Hapi, the baboon head god: protects the lungs and symbolizes the breath of life. The eagle-headed god Qebehsenuef: protects the intestines and symbolizes purification and resuscitation. Amazingly, these containers are extremely well preserved and even newer than imagined!
