Shanghai Three-Day Two-Night Travel Guide.
🕌Shanghai Three-Day Two-Night Travel Guide
🏨Accommodation Recommendation: Hebei Hotel. Although the rooms are spacious, the hygiene and service quality are average, and the location is slightly off-center. However, considering that you can stay in Shanghai for 200 yuan, the price-performance ratio is still good, especially since it is only an 8-minute walk from the train station.
📅Itinerary:
🔆Day 1:
📍Wukang Building: A striking red brick building.
📍Anfu Road: Although there are few gourmet shops and clothing stores, you may find a different kind of tranquility.
📍Urumqi Road: It is recommended to try the ice cream at Maji House, although it is expensive, the taste is excellent.
Lunch: 📍Haohuaicai Zhezhezhi Pot at People's Square, Cantonese flavor, taste is average.
Afternoon: Continue the city walk, starting from People's Square, turn right to reach Nanjing Pedestrian Street.
📍Nanjing Pedestrian Street: Everything you need for eating, drinking, playing and having fun, the end is Oriental Pearl Tower and the Bund.
📍Opposite the Bank of Guangda, Bund Branch, stairs to the left of Deke's, second floor, there is a great viewing platform (Figure 8).
📍Continue to Waibaidu Bridge, this is the scene where Yiping jumps off the bridge in "Deep in the Rain".
📍On the left is Zhapu Road Bridge, known as the Seine River of Shanghai, also a great location for photographing the Oriental Pearl Tower.
📍After crossing the bridge, you will reach the Bund Source, the church building is very distinctive, and there are foreign bands performing inside.
Following this route, you will eventually return to the Bund. At this time, you can go to Building 6️⃣, wait for the 7 o'clock night view (Note: Lights on at 7 o'clock, don't miss it).
Dinner: Fei Dachu, the taste is spicy and delicious, but the spiciness is high, Guangdong friends please choose carefully.
🔆Day 2:
📍Lujiazui Three-Piece Suit: Experience the modern urban charm of Shanghai.
📍Yuyuan Garden (Ticket 44 yuan): Originally planned to visit in the afternoon, but it was not possible due to rain. It is recommended to arrive before 3 pm, stop entry after 4 pm, and clear the field at 4:30 pm.
Evening: 📍City God Temple, no need to enter the temple, the commercial street night view is worth a visit.
Dinner: Tried several restaurants, but none were satisfactory.
🔆Day 3:
📍North Bund: Enjoy the unique scenery of the Huangpu River.
📍Disney Town: Experience the charm of a fairy tale world.
Afternoon: Departure.
I hope this guide will add a touch of excitement to your Shanghai trip!

First Trip to Shanghai and Suzhou
For my first trip to mainland China, I chose Shanghai and Suzhou. I visited Disneyland, Costco, and witnessed the historical charm of Shanghai. I explored Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Huaihai Road, Wukang Road, the Bund, Lujiazui, and Jin Mao Tower. I experienced both the old and new areas, dined at Lao Jishi, took a ferry ride, and even saw an Egyptian exhibition. I traveled by subway and high-speed rail, shuttling between cities. I was amazed by the vastness and progress of mainland China. The local customs and culture are somewhat different from Taiwan, so I opened my heart to slowly experience them. I liked Suzhou even more. The unique scenery in the old city is unforgettable, with so many historical sites that it was overwhelming. I look forward to visiting mainland China again!

🚶🏻♂️ Tallest Building in Shanghai?!
#chinatrip
Always love exploring new places. I came by in the research that this is one of the must visit places in Shanghai. Usually people would just seeing this 3 Musketeer (Shanghai World Financial Centre, Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai Tower).
The moment you arrive at this place, you will see a lot of people looking down to the floor 🌚 then realise you will also be one of them. Why? People are putting their camera / phone on the floor to snap the perfect wefie with 3 Muskeeter photo.
Jason Egg
I got you Lujiazui!! 🗼
#chinatrip
Have you ever heard of 3 musketeer? You can actually find it in China 😎 introducing you the tallest building in China! We made a trip here to one of the nearby shopping mall through Didi taxi, then walk for around 15mins to Lujiazui.
The moment we arrived at that area, noticed there are crowd in between the 3 massive buildings trying to take photo together. It is quite funny seeing everyone looking down.
But of course, there is also a elevated deck overseeing it as well, if do not want to be stuck in crowd then can consider this!

Underrated other side of the Bund
This is not exactly Liujiazui - could not tag a more accurate location. Everyone knows West Bund, Bund or North Bund, but rarely do people talk about the Pudong side of the Bund - 滨江。
To cross the river for Pudong, hop on one of the multiple ferry stops along the Bund - I recommend the 董家渡 stop which will disembark you at 塘桥 - slightly south to Liujiazui. (See map)
The entire ferry ride is a less than 10 minutes and costs 2RMB. Go on the upper outdoor deck to get the best views of both sides of the Huangpu river.
Disembarking at 塘桥,walk north along the riverside promenade (滨江)and a get a closer view of the Pearl Tower as well as the the Bund from the other side.
You can also ride or walk the 20km stretch of dedicated cyclist/pedestrian lane. The cyclable route winds through trees, rises above ground and goes through protected forest areas.
Walk or ride, this is a very nice afternoon/sunset activity to to with a family but expect to have go through a few busy areas - Specially when getting closer to the Pearl Tower.
You can plan a picnic or stop at the multiple coffee stops along the river as well as many restaurants - Fat Cow, Eli Falafel, Chili’s etc - as you get closer to Liujiazui.

Shanghai's architecture
Shanghai's architecture is a fascinating blend of old and new, with a rich history of traditional Chinese styles and innovative modern designs. Exploring the city on foot is a great way to experience this diverse architecture, from the colonial buildings of the Bund to the soaring skyscrapers of Lujiazui.
The city's unique mix of European and Chinese influences can be seen in landmarks like the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Yu Garden. Explore towering skyscrapers
The Huangpu district in downtown Shanghai is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in modern architecture and cityscapes. This area is home to some of the tallest and most iconic skyscrapers in the world, including the famous Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center.
The Pearl Tower, with its distinctive ball-shaped top, is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Shanghai. Visitors can take a high-speed elevator to the top for panoramic views of the city and the Huangpu River below.
The Shanghai Tower is another impressive feat of engineering and design. This 632-meter-tall tower is the second-tallest building in the world, and it's home to a variety of offices, shops, and restaurants. Visitors can take a high-speed elevator to the observation deck on the 118th floor for breathtaking views of the city.
The Shanghai World Financial Center is another iconic skyscraper in the Huangpu district. This 492-meter-tall tower is home to a mix of offices, hotels, and shopping centers, and it's known for its distinctive trapezoidal aperture at the top.
Beyond the skyscrapers, the Huangpu district is also home to a variety of other attractions, including the Bund, a historic waterfront area that's lined with colonial-era buildings and offers stunning views of the city skyline. The district also boasts a variety of shops, restaurants, and nightlife venues, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

Picturesque Shanghai!
When you visit Shanghai it is always good to find places where you can take good pictures. As they always say “Instagram Worthy” places. my wife and I have always been fascinated with the sky scrapers in Shanghai specially Lujiazui area in Pudong.
There are so many restaurants, cafe bars and malls around so you will never get bored exploring this area of Shanghai.
Enjoy your trip.

Once upon a time in Shanghai
Shanghai is a popular tourist destination known for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yu Garden as well as the extensive Lujiazui skyline, many skyscrapers, and major museums including the Shanghai Museum and the China Art Museum.
During one of trips to Shanghai about 5 years ago one of the places we've been to is the Yu Garden also know as Yuyuan. It lies next to the City God Temple in Shanghai’s Old City, which was dedicated to the city’s spirits, or protectors, in the 1400s. The classic Chinese-style gardens, complete with rockeries, ponds, pavilions and towers, feature several distinct areas separated by grey tiled ridges called “dragon walls”. The area surrounding the gardens holds endless opportunities to try street food and buy souvenirs. If you can’t make it to Suzhou in Jiangsu province, which is better known for its gardens, Yuyuan will surely not failed you.
Next is Shanghai Disneyland. Many of the rides, attractions and characters have been redesigned to cater to a Chinese tourist audience. A group of Chinese zodiac gardens make up its centre – with the 12 animals represented by Disney characters – and instead of Main Street USA, there is Mickey Avenue. There’s also more live entertainment here than in other Disney theme parks. It’s a great choice if you need a break from traditional sightseeing in Shanghai
And if ever you feel tired being surrounded by tourist crowds, I highly recommended Wan Shan bird and flower market. Flowers are sold alongside pet birds, fish, chinchillas and even crickets – from the tiny to the unnervingly massive – in this market, which sits at the junction of Tibet Road and Huiji Road. You’ll also find potted plants, such as bonsai trees and succulents, on sale. Antiques and jade are also sold nearby, in case you’re good for small mammals, and your aquarium and window box are both fully stocked.
Temples can be a great way to find peace within the noise of Shanghai tourism and city life in general, whether or not you are religious. The Buddhist temple of Longhua is the oldest in the city and has a fascinating history, from its inception in 242CE to i#spooktaculartrip s use as a Japanese-run internment camp during World War II. I suggest you simply walk around the complex, or buy some incense and send up a prayer of your own.
These attractions are a great place to start if you only have a few days to experience the city’s splendour and I know you’ll find something worth visiting around every corner in the largest city in China.

The Towers of Shanghai
#meetshanghai , the home of 4 Tall Tower out of which 2 of them are in Top 20 Skyscrapers in the world!
A visit to Shanghai would never be completed without getting amazed by these man-made wonders. Day or night, whether you’re in Pudong side or Puxi side, whenever you spot these towers, it’s a picturesque shot.
I have been to all towers’ observatories, most of them offer “glass floor” for more thrilling adventures. And there’s nice hotels and bars/restaurants there, too, if you have extra money to spend.

Shanghai’s Iconic Towers… Closer 🌇🌃✨
While The Bund remains the most popular place for the perfect picture-postcard of the city, have you ever thought of having a closer look at those towers? 🤩
I found Lujiazui on a day trip. My friend and I took a bus from Shanghai Railway station to get off at People’s Square, but unfortunately missed our stop and ended up getting off at this random bus stop in Pudong district 🙈 We walked a bit and found this amazing flyover ring pathway above the main road which allows you to have a closer look at those towers: Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai Tower & The Oriental Pearl Tower🤩✨ It’s such a fantastic spot for urban pictures! 📸 The pathway is also connected to the malls around. It gets busy in the late afternoon/evening especially when the lights are on. A must visit when in Shanghai 💯
How to go ➡️ Lujiazui metro station on line 2 & 14, 陆家嘴 is right at this spot. Climb the stairs to get on the flyover pathway.

Lujiazui - Shanghai
Lujiazui is the central business district of Shanghai and the biggest financial zone in Mainland China. It has more than 400 banks and financial institutions. I love to walk there, the modern skyscrapers around are just mind-blowing.
The four tallest landmarks of the city - the Oriental Pearl Tower (468 meters), Jin Mao Tower (420.5 meters), Shanghai World Financial Center (492 meters), and Shanghai Tower (632 meters) are situated next to each other. When it becomes dark, all the buildings are decorated with colorful lights, presenting a wonderful scene.
If you need a spot to relax you can go to Lujiazui Central Green Space where you will find fountains and white canopies scattered across the green space. It is a popular location for wedding photos and picnics.
In that area you will find hundreds of restaurants, high-end restaurants and hotels.
How to get there:
By metro (line 2, and get off at Lujiazui Station);
By bus (there are plenty of buses going to that area, like #82, #314, #4, #85 and many more that you can find in the internet);
By taxi;
By Sightseeing Bus which is took

We had the chance to take a look around West Nanjing road, Huaihai middle road, people’s square and Lijiazui. Then we stopped by a good restaurant with a splendid view toward the Bund, bought some good and tasty wine. We had dinner for 98 kuai with a serving , main dish and a dessert. The atmosphere was good the music was calm and the weather was nice and warm ! A really unforgettable experience !

Of course, you have to try the durian braised pork belly in Shanghai.
I have always been curious about the durian braised pork belly made by a certain big shot, and the taste of durian opened by hand. I didn't expect to find it in this Huaiyang restaurant. On Qixi Festival, you can not only eat Western food, but also Chinese food. A whole bowl of durian braised pork belly is perfect for me and my boyfriend!
🥳Durian Braised Pork Belly 🥩
There are various flavors of braised pork belly, but this is the first time I have tried durian-flavored braised pork belly. The braised pork belly with a fresh and sweet taste is paired with the soft golden pillow durian. It is so delicious!
🥳Huaiyang Soft Tofu 🍲
The tofu is stir-fried with thick oil and red sauce, and is smooth and tender. Wrapped in a dough, it is so satisfying!
🥳Crispy Young Pigeon 🐦
The young pigeon is roasted with a crispy skin, and the pigeon meat is tender and juicy. The aroma is overflowing, and it is very enjoyable to eat!
