Without the hustle and bustle of the National Day holiday, I prefer the Zhangzhou Tulou at this time of year. 🌾

The rice fields have been harvested, and there are few tourists at the Tulou and ancient villages. The locals are warm and hospitable, and this is the best time to savor the beauty of intangible cultural heritage.

This trip included the Zhangzhou Tianluokeng Tulou and Hekeng Tulou, which can be done in two days and one night. If you're short on time, just visit the Tianluokeng Tulou.

1⃣ Arrive at Tianluokeng at noon on the first day. Before entering the Tulou, take a few photos at the viewing platform, then head to Taxia Village and check into a local guesthouse. The off-season offers great value for money, and you can return to nature and find yourself here. 🛏

2⃣ Wake up naturally on the second day. After breakfast, visit the ancient street. The street is small, and it's mainly for taking photos. You can also pick persimmons on the hill behind the guesthouse. There are some wild persimmon trees on the hills around the village. Then, enjoy a hearty meal at a restaurant. 🥘

⚠ The biggest advantage of traveling off-peak is that there are fewer people, and accommodation is heavily discounted. You can relax and enjoy your visit.
⚠ It's best to drive to the Tulou, as public transport is inconvenient. There are charging stations in Taxia Village.

- Yunshuiyao Fuxing Lou - Tulou Homestay:
- Located in Tangkeng, Kansha Village, Yunshuiyao Scenic Area, Nanjing, built in 1934, it is a square Tulou.
- Located in the center of the scenic area, it is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. With a pebble stone foundation, rammed earth exterior walls, brick and wood mortise and tenon structure, the interior and exterior design are aesthetically pleasing, small, exquisite, elegant, and serene. There is a rice field in front of the homestay, a small garden inside, and areas suitable for young people such as tea brewing by the stove. Some rooms on the second floor offer a half-view of the Tulou, allowing guests to experience Hakka culture.

The homestay is a transformation of local houses🏡, retaining the fresh scenery outside the window🌿. The yard is just outside the door, comfortable and suitable for friends to come and play, the air is very good, just at the foot of the mountain🌳. The large courtyard is for children to play and run~

The homestay is equipped with an indoor public area, it's no problem to play for a whole day🌈. There are book bars, table football, chess and cards, projection, children's entertainment area, etc. If there are many children, some small handicrafts can be arranged, which is quite interesting~

💚Secondly, I recommend the Tianluokeng viewing platform, overlooking the 'four dishes and one soup'📸. You can clearly see the shape of each Tulou, although there are now many vendors in the Tulou, this does not affect the beauty and mystery of the Tulou.

💚Thirdly, I recommend the Zhang's ancestral hall of Deyuan Hall and the Shilong flagpole group in Taxia Village🏮. It has a history of more than 400 years and is one of the most complete ancient surname ancestral halls in China that can be seen today. It's worth a visit!
