The bakery has two locations in Macau: Taipa and Coloane, with the main store located in Coloane Village. Compared to Taipa, the Coloane main store is less crowded and more comfortable. As the most famous egg tart shop in Macau, the tart crust is layered and flaky, and the filling is incredibly smooth. It melts in your mouth, and you might find yourself finishing a whole box in no time. The Taipa branch of Lord Stow's Bakery has a high turnover rate, so even if the line is long, it's highly recommended to wait and try their egg tarts.

If you don’t want to go to Macau and squeeze in the crowds, you can visit some of the lesser-known attractions. It is the best place to watch the sunset. There are many stairs. You will reach Black Sand Bay. The sand is black and the sea water is not very clear. It is nice to blow the sea breeze here at 5 pm. Note: Bus drivers only accept cash. Remember to prepare cash before going through customs. The bus is quite convenient and there is a bus very quickly.

We had the famous Lord Stow's Portuguese egg tarts in Macau. It is one of the must do things in my itinerary. We waited for some time for the freshly baked egg tarts to be out of the oven. Wow, look at the flaky crust! The puff pastry was crispy, layered and crumpy like a croissant, the top of the egg custard is caramelised. This is one of the best egg tarts I have ever tried. So tasty! They also have a branch in Singapore, but I am not sure if the taste is as good as the one in Macau. Lord Stow's Garden Cafe is located on the back side of the originally Lord Stow's Bakery in Coloane. This is the largest of there four Lord Stow's venues in the village with a good sized seating section. Opening hours are 9am to 8pm daily. The Cafe has a full menu so you can have a meal here if you like. Most simply come here for the famous pastel de nata (Portuguese style egg tarts) which are now MOP$10 each. I like to order 2 (or 3 if hungry) to enjoy with an espresso when I stop by the Lord Stow's Garden Cafe. The tarts are the same that come from the original bakery on the other side of the same large property. Service is timely and overall decent. They can turn the tables over as quickly as possible. If you simply go for tarts and coffee/tea, you can get in our out in 15-20 minutes. #lordstow'scafe #Macau

Around the corner, there is Andrew Garden Coffee Shop, there are very few seats, but because it is too hot I really can't stand it and have to go in to cool off and take a break. The Andrew Portuguese tart here is not as greasy as what I used to eat at the Venetian, and tastes as good as ever, and more eggs, very good. #fallishere When we talk about Macau, the Portuguese tart (Cantonese: Pou Tat) in the Lord Stow’s Bakery and Cafe that located inside the Venetian Macau is the top food that everyone cannot miss out because you will be considered not visiting to Macau if you have never try it !!!😅😅 We went there around 4 pm and the queue was crazily long like over 30 ++ people ahead of us but the staffs work super fast that it just took 20 min until our turn!! Personally I will give it 8/10. Taste is definitely super nice but it is relatively sweet while I prefer salty as a typical Asian 😂 Opening hours: 10 am - 10.30 pm
