My night flight to Penang, we randomly chose a cheaper hotel to spend the night, found Loop on leith george town, the overall feeling was good! The lobby is very spacious, feels like a co-working space, and there is a small coffee shop, but unfortunately it was not open when we checked in🙈 Except for the glass window seat to look at the street view, the other side is even a red brick design, quite beautiful to take pictures! First time going to Penang alone, I chose a hotel for a long time and ended up at Loop on Leith, a medium-sized hotel in Georgetown. The check-in counter was very good and polite. We got a room on the 4th floor. The hotel is good because the key card can only be tapped on the floor we are staying on. It is very safe. The walkway to the room is a bit winding. The room is large, with a bed, a sofa to sit and relax, a refrigerator, and a hair dryer. The bathroom is divided into wet and dry zones. I am impressed. The hotel is located in an area where you can walk, eat, and travel. When you leave the hotel, you will see the GEORGE building, a place that everyone must come to take pictures of. And walk a little bit more to reach the street food area that people like to eat. In Penang, there is a tourist tax or Tourism Tax. We booked through Trip, which included this tax. But have to pay Hotel Tax when checking in at 2 MYR per night. And the price in our Trip included breakfast. It is very convenient. For anyone who plans to travel to Penang, I recommend reading the details of booking a hotel carefully or booking through Trip. Loop On Leith Georgetown Hotel Penang was located next to the mosque. you will find a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. Parking is based on first come first serve for hotel guests otherwise you need to park at a nearby car park around the hotel. The room was clean and the toilet was complete with toiletries.
