[2025 Shenzhen Attraction] Travel Guide for Longgang Children's Park (Updated Aug)

I visited Shenzhen in October and went to Longgang Park. This park is really huge and fun. Entry is free, and the activities inside are charged individually. If you get a membership, it's even more cost-effective, and the membership can be used by multiple people. There are also many free activities available, and the kids had a great time.

Just during the 🐣 Easter holiday, I took Zhao BB to a slightly farther place—Longgang in Shenzhen 🤭. First stop was the super fun and energy-draining Longgang Children's Park 🐣. The park hasn’t been open for long, so it’s very new and well-maintained 🤩. I highly recommend it to everyone! 👍🏻 Free admission 👍🏻 The park covers a large area 👍🏻 Features 🔟 different themed playgrounds with varying levels of climbing difficulty 👍🏻 Offers various rides (charged per use / discounted with a pass) 👍🏻 Plenty of restaurants and tea shops inside, with prices similar to those outside the park 👍🏻 Large grassy areas and lots of camping tables and chairs available for free use 👍🏻 Numerous clean restrooms 👍🏻 Additional attractions like a petting zoo, insect museum, and theater (extra charges apply, but we didn’t visit any 😂) Zhao BB played through all the small playgrounds and tried one ride, which kept us busy for the whole day. I was bored celebrating Lunar New Year in Shenzhen, so I decided to take my child to Longgang Children's Park and stay at a hotel. I used 12,000 points to redeem a family room at the Crowne Plaza Longgang City Centre. Since the hotel is essentially a business hotel, the family room design only includes family-themed bed sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, and a small tent. Children's supplies were placed in the room in advance, and this time there was a children's mouthwash cup. The welcome drinks and food for members were average, with a bottle of soda and some biscuits and sweets. I stayed on the executive floor because of my membership benefits, but the lounge was closed during the Lunar New Year. The hotel offered a dinner buffet and double breakfast (the points room itself does not include breakfast). The dinner buffet was much more varied than the lounge, and I was full and satisfied. After all, it only lacked the hot pot buffet part compared to customers who purchased at the full price. It was not necessary to pay extra CNY 238 per person for the hot pot. There was also a free children's sandwich-making activity during dinner, which every child could participate in. The ice cream for dessert after dinner was also delicious, possibly because the whole dining process was free. The breakfast the next day did not have many varieties and the taste was average. The overall plus point was the free dinner buffet. During the Lunar New Year, the points room did not increase in price, and the overall conversion value of a room night with double breakfast and double dinner buffet was about CNY 430. The biggest surprise was that the kids' club was very large, larger than all the family play spaces I've been to in other hotels. It's like a miniature Naughty Castle, where you can do family baking, handicrafts, and other activities. The discounted price for hotel guests is CNY 78 per child, which I think is very affordable. Children can play for a long time, and can enter and exit countless times throughout the day without time limit! The downside is probably that the toilet has no door or is an odd shape, and there is only one washbasin, which is inconvenient for a family to wash, and the basin space is also very small!

I heard that Longgang Children's Park just opened this year, so I took the opportunity to take my child to experience it! The park is mainly divided into motorized rides, non-motorized areas, science parks, and so on. Indoor activity venues, after analysis, we don't go to the ones that cost money, we want to let the children release their energy to the fullest. The non-motorized area is made up of themed sports projects composed of climbing slides, which are very suitable for my child. Climb! Climb! Climb this one and then that one, slide down, one project after another, and finally, we bought two motorized rides to satisfy the child. It was already afternoon and we played until the evening, mission accomplished. The facilities inside are very new, you can tell that the materials are very good, and the workmanship is also good. The park is built on the mountain, so even if you just go for a walk, it feels very comfortable. At night, you can also see the auntie using a floor scrubber to wash the asphalt road, it's all the smell of money! It was already dark when we came out of the science museum.
