The city of Ljubljana is really very small, and the attractions are relatively concentrated. The Three Bridges, Preseren Square, the Centennial Central Pharmacy, the Statue of the Muse, the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, and the Ljubljana Castle are all within walking distance. Museum of PuppetryLubiana's puppet theater is located at the foot of the castle hill. It is a special place that can bring joy and good memories. There are some puppet shows to watch, and some of the decorations on the buildings are also quite childlike. There is a mouse-shaped fountain and a kangaroo drinking fountain, which you can visit before going to the castle.

THE BEAUTY OF SLOVENIA date: 20 July going there: by flight solo trip Today is my lazy day in Prague, Czech Republic ... I suppose to visit Bohemian Switzerland National Park in Northern Czech today, located 2 hours from Prague ... but it's one of those day you just don't feel it 😅 ... "Can I make it on time to catch a train?, Do I feel like hiking today?, What if the hiking trails is too hard for me, I don't have a suitable shoes, what if its raining? What if I get lost in the woods alone, urghh this bed is so comfortable... " 🙄 alasan bertengkek-tengkek ... Last2 aku jadi pemanas tilam je la hari ni. 😆 Before I came here, I spent a week in sLOVEnia ... As I said before this one is beautiful ... I should spend more time there ... Well ... there's always next time ... Late spring & summer should be great, when I can enjoy a longer daytime ... Yeah ... As much as I love autumn ... We only get more or less 8 hours of daylight a day ... Pukul 5 ptg tu dah bergelap dah ... I'm not saying it's limited ... But still, if you want to do an outdoor activities you better start super early in the morning. (Ermm no! ... I'm on vacation man ... Ljubljana, Bled, Bohinj & Triglav National Park adalah antara tempat yang aku lawati semasa di sana. Slovenia is a part of European Union, they use Euro as a currency and it has a modern infrastructure which you can use to reach any part of this country. I totally surprised that it seem almost everyone here can speak English fluently and people here are really polite and friendly to visitors, so I got no problem asking for help or directions. Ljubljana is a small city ... You can pretty much explore it in a day. I like the laid back vibe of this city compared to hustle and bustle and touristy cities of other European countries. Many different nations and cultures have shaped Slovenia throughout the ages and they all have left some characteristic marks to this new independent country. Traveling in Slovenia is definitely cheaper compared to West or Central Europe and Scandinavian Countries. I only spent 10 euro a night for an accommodation, 3-10 euro for a meal and under 10 euro for a bus ride pretty much everywhere in Slovenia. The highlight of my time here definitely my visit to Lake Bohinj and Triglav National Park. This place will take your breath away for sure! For me Slovenia may be a small country but it undoubtedly such a destination, and it will completely blow your mind once you start to explore it. 😎 PS: S❤️venia ... I'll be back 😘

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a small and cute city formed along a winding river! It is a cute town, but the symbol of the city is a dragon! That's why you can see dragon statues all over the city:) There is a market every day near the river, so I was able to taste various fruits. I had cherries in season, and they gave me a whole bag for 2,000 won. Also, there is Ljubljana Castle on the hill, which overlooks the city at a glance. This castle is located at the highest point in the city! The dragon sculpture and the cascading dark clouds in the distance echo the magical atmosphere. I like every corner of this unpopular town. Whether it is the street or the alley is worth exploring~

Here’s what I recommend for a 3 day stay in the Ljubljana region: 1️⃣ Lake Bled Lake Bled is the star of the show when it comes to the Ljubljana region. The turquoise waters of the glacial lake surround the iconic island and Church of the Assumption. Take a relaxing boat ride or hike up to Bled Castle or the Mala Osojnica viewpoint for breathtaking views of Lake Bled and the picturesque countryside. There are multiple spots around to lake to stop and have a picnic. Bled town has several cafes, shops, and restaurants if you prefer to dine inside. 2️⃣ Vintgar Gorge Hop on a €10 shuttle bus from Bled to the Vintgar Gorge where you’ll find a 1.6km gorge highlighted by the Radovna River and its waterfalls, pools, and rapids. Wearing your safety helmet, you’ll walk through the gorge before strolling through some lush Slovenian forest. Be sure to reserve a time slot for the Vintgar Gorge before arriving as you can only enter at a specific time. 3️⃣ Ljubljana Old Town The Old Town of Ljubljana is known for its charming streets, historic buildings, and vibrant atmosphere. The area is a pedestrian only zone, making it a fun and safe area to explore on foot. The Triple Bridge, Preseren Square, and Ljubljana Cathedral are highlights if you’re doing a photograph walking tour. Another favorite of mine is the quieter Gornji trg - one of the prettiest streets in Ljubljana! 4️⃣ Ljubljana Castle A short but steep climb or a furuncular ride will take you to Ljubljana Castle. Perched on a hill above the Old Town, the medieval fortress is the perfect place to learn more about Slovenian history or snap a photo of the city below. 🏨 Where to Stay: Ljubljana is a compact and walkable city meaning that wherever you choose to base yourself, you’ll be walking distance to all the major attractions. Quiet day in Ljubljana with good food and gorgeous scenery. This city is quiet but great. Weather was magical and we really enjoyed it. Was there with friends from Italy, Croatia and Germany, we walked around the city and it was peaceful and just wonderful. Would love to also see the nature around but that will have to be for the next trip as we went by car to Croatia after our lunch.

I would never of imagined putting Ljubljana as a place I would recommend for people to go and visit, it had never been on my list of places to go on holiday to. But after visiting this wonderful city I would highly encourage anyone who loves a city full of quirky character, rich culture and wonderful scenery to hop on a plane and tick this city off your list. We absolutely loved eating at the 'Wonderland' restaurant, the food was stunning and the cocktails were creative and scrummy. It was a great short stay in this wonderful city.
