The water surface of Fangtang is sparkling, like a mirror inlaid on the earth, reflecting the surrounding beauty. The old street exudes a strong historical atmosphere. The bluestone road has become smooth and warm under the polishing of time, and the ancient buildings on the street seem to be telling the past prosperity. Zhuangyuan Street carries people's yearning for knowledge and fame, while Embroidery Building Street is full of romantic atmosphere, as if you can see ancient women leaning on the railing of the embroidery building and looking into the distance. In the supply and marketing cooperative, there are various goods full of the sense of the times, which instantly takes people back to the era when materials were relatively scarce but full of warmth. The best part of this trip is the Iron flower firework created by melted Iron and thrown and swung in the air by 2 craftsmen🤩👍🏼 It was soooo beautiful and made this visit a view of the past. Adding to this are the traditional shops and structures around the river. They even created a bonfire dance party as the highlight of the day👍🏼

Due to not paying attention to the weather before setting out, I arrived at the scenic area just in time for the rain. After completing the check-in procedures at the hotel front desk, I drove directly into the scenic area. The hotel is located within the scenic area, making it very convenient to tour the water town. The Huizhou-style buildings with white walls and black tiles perfectly blend into the water town, forming a beautiful ink painting. There were not many tourists, which spared the background of a 'wall of people' in photos. Affected by the weather, most outdoor performances were canceled, only some indoor performances continued to be staged on time, which felt somewhat regrettable. However, as night fell and the lights came on, everything changed significantly. The misty rain, the red lanterns all over the streets, and the occasional mist spraying over the water surface added a dreamy beauty to the water town under the light reflections, typical of the southern water towns. Very fortunately, around 9 pm when the rain paused, it left just enough time for the intangible cultural heritage performance by the Fangtang - the 'Iron Flower' fireworks, allowing us to enjoy a visual feast of silver flowers and meteor showers from the iron tree, which was extremely impressive and turned a slightly regrettable trip into one with a perfect ending.

For me, the style of ancient towns is pretty much the same, just for photo ops and checking in to enjoy the night view.
