A must-visit for hiking beginners - Mount Lingyan, Dujiangyan In early winter, we set off from Wenjiang at 9 am and arrived in Dujiangyan at 10 am. This is a city under the snow-capped mountains. In most parts of the city, you can see the snow-capped mountains. The snow-capped mountains, ginkgo trees, and sunshine are so beautiful that words cannot describe them. Unfortunately, we didn't stop to take photos because we were in a hurry to climb the mountain. We thought we could take photos on the way back. However, there was not enough sunshine on the way back, and the view was not clear enough. We had to give up and decided to come back next time to take photos of the snow-capped mountains. This tells us that when we see beautiful scenery, we should not hesitate or wait. We should stop and enjoy it immediately. Drive or take a bus to Erwang Temple. After parking, walk back about 200 meters, and you will see the sign of Lingyan Secret Land. Walk up the road on the right side of the sign, and you can start today's hike! The road is paved with cement and is in good condition. Just walk on the side of the road and watch out for vehicles. After walking about 2 km, you can choose a trail. The route is more interesting, and you need to wear non-slip shoes. The trail is a bit slippery, but the scenery is beautiful, and the air is fresh. You can breathe in negative ions. After walking about 3 km, you will reach Lingyan Old Street. Walk up the stone steps, and you will see tea houses on both sides. The interior is fresh and elegant, and the view from the window or balcony is wide. You can overlook the entire Dujiangyan Scenic Area. It is very suitable for sunbathing, enjoying the scenery, dazing, and playing with cats. Lingyan Temple is under renovation and is temporarily closed. We thought we would go back home because there was nothing to see. We accidentally found that we could go up to Lingyan Academy. The ticket is CNY 20 per person, and seniors over 60 and children are free. The ticket can be used to offset the consumption of tea and other items inside, but I forgot to use it. There is free vegetarian food on the first and fifteenth day of each month. We happened to be there on the fifteenth day, and the vegetarian food was very delicious. We could have more if we wanted. After entering Lingyan Academy, there are many attractions to visit. My son met two of his classmates by chance. He was so happy that he played with them and forgot to use the ticket to offset the consumption of CNY 20. We didn't have time to visit the attractions, which was a pity.
