Mountain climbing

Lingyan Mountain is located in the northwest corner of Dujiangyan City. It is adjacent to Yulei Mountain. Less than ten miles from Lingyan Mountain to the north is the famous Zipingpu Dam. The rolling Minjiang River flows down from Lingyan Mountain. into the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. At the foot of Lingyan Mountain, there are famous tourist attractions Erwang Temple, Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project and Lidui Park, so you can overlook the panoramic view of Dujiangyan from the top of Lingyan Mountain. Lingyan Temple At the foot of Lingyan Mountain, there is a cable car that leads directly to the top of the mountain. On the top of the mountain is "Lingyan Temple", one of the four famous ancient temples in my country (Dangyang Yuquan Temple, Nanjing Qixia Temple and Tiantai Guoqing Temple). Lingyan Temple was built in the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (479) and rebuilt in the reign of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (627-649). The main building in the temple is the Thousand Buddha Hall, which is also a relatively well-preserved and large-scale ancient building in the temple. The Thousand Buddha Hall was built in the Tang Dynasty and is now a wooden structure rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. In the hall, there are 40 colorful clay sculptures from the Song Dynasty, which are nearly a thousand years old and are still well preserved. Another attraction in the temple is the Pizhi Pagoda. It stands in the northwest of the Thousand Buddhas Hall. It was built in the Song Dynasty. The shape is peculiar, the tower is different from top to bottom, the first to third floors are double eaves, and the fourth to ninth floors are single eaves. The quaint doors and windows, the changing eaves of the tower and the slender tower body make people feel solemn and generous without being delicate. There are 167 various tomb towers and 81 epitaphs in the Tallinn on the west side of the Daxiong Hall in the temple from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. The scale and quantity are second only to the Tallinn of the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan.
