In just one or two hours, you can easily see everything you need to. Stroll along the old city streets, and take a peek at what all the vendors are selling - this can be everything from toys and souvenirs to traditional candy and other such delicacies. We actually had one of the best bowls of noodles I've tried in a long time - they were super simple stir-fried noodles, but were expertfly flavored and only 8RMB for a HUGE bowl that was more than enough for two people to share for a lighter lunch option. Lijing Gate is a some kind of postal card of Luoyang, if it could be said in that way to emphasize its importance for local culture. Monumental ancient fortification for defense and control of visitors coming to this ancient capital for different reasons. Especially beautiful it looks from the inside after crossing small bridge and entering.

Besides the one in the National Museum, this one is in Luoyang. 3️⃣ White Horse Temple White Horse Temple is the only international temple in the world that integrates Buddhist temples from China, India, Myanmar, and Thailand. If you are in the northeast service area, you will have to take a sightseeing bus. It is more spectacular to take pictures of the Great Buddha from across the river.

The hotel offers an amazing hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience with various styles and exquisite accessories that dazzle the eye. Putting on hanfu instantly transported me back to ancient times. The hotel-recommended Taoyaoyao hanfu styling was particularly stunning. The makeup artist skillfully created a gentle, charming look based on my face shape and hanfu style. After getting dressed up, my Trip Moments journey officially began. My first stop was Luoyi Ancient City, filled with traditional Chinese architecture—pavilions, towers, bridges, and streams—making me feel like I was in an ancient capital from a thousand years ago. Here, every photo I took turned out beautifully. Leaving Luoyi Ancient City, it was just a 5-minute walk to Lijing Gate. At night, Lijing Gate was brilliantly lit and bustling with activity. I wandered through the crowds, absorbing the lively atmosphere of the ancient city while capturing these wonderful moments with my camera. The next day, I took the Princess Special Train for just 10 yuan to Yingtian Gate and Mingtang Tiantang. Yingtian Gate is magnificent, while Mingtang Tiantang is splendidly ornate. Here, I experienced the glory and honor of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Under the photographer's guidance, I struck various poses, making these historic buildings the perfect backdrop for my photos. This Luoyang trip was made even more wonderful because of the Yunan Yuibei Garden Hotel. It not only provided comfortable accommodation but also became an excellent starting point for my Trip Moments experience. It was really fun walking into Luoyi Ancient City from Lijing Gate. There are lots of great shops, including with the amazing peony pottery and art. The freshly baked flower cookies / cakes are absolutely delicious, and there's lot's more street food, including fried bugs if you're into that!
