Qifeng Culture
Zibo Qi Culture Museum is located at No. 308, Linzi Avenue, Linzi District, Zibo City, Shandong Province.
General Information
- Opening: Officially opened on September 12, 2016.
- Building scale: The building covers an area of 35,000 square meters and looks like a twisted desk calendar.
- Exhibition hall distribution: It is divided into four parts: basic exhibition hall, special exhibition hall, thematic exhibition hall, and temporary exhibition hall.
- Collection of cultural relics: It has more than 30,000 cultural relics, more than 4,100 (sets) of which are on display. The treasure of the museum is the Xizun of the Warring States Period.
- Level of honor: It was announced as a national second-class museum in September 2018, promoted to a national first-class museum in December 2020, and rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction in December 2023.
Exhibitions
- Basic exhibition: Based on the rise and fall of the capital of the State of Qi over 800 years, it consists of a magnificent historical exhibition and a distinctive thematic exhibition, including eight parts such as Pre-Qi Civilization and Qi of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
- Special exhibition: There are halls of Qi Archaeology, Magnificent Qi Capital, Jixia Academy, Stone Carvings, etc. The Archaeology Hall explores the reasons why the State of Qi developed into the "Kingdom of the Sea" from an archaeological perspective; the Stone Carving Hall displays Buddhist statues and Han Dynasty stone carvings indoors, and exquisite stone carvings such as the Linzi County Gate Plaque outdoors.
- Thematic exhibition: Including the halls of Linzi Party History, Integrity Education, Pottery, Porcelain, Calligraphy and Painting, and the "Tianqi Yizhen" thematic exhibition on the third floor, displaying Han Dynasty painted pottery, pottery, ancient porcelain, and calligraphy and painting.
- Temporary exhibition: Various temporary exhibitions are held, such as the 96th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party Archives and Documents Exhibition, "Mirror of Tianqi" Bronze Mirror Exhibition, etc.
