Liangzhu Museum is another UNESCO World Heritage cite. Part of the Liangzhu Culture Village, it offers the visitors several galleries representing different stages of development of Liangzhu culture - ancient society that spread it's influence in the East of China. In the Han Dynasty, "xi" (for emperors and kings) and "yin" (for officials and private use) were symbols of political power and social status, as well as proof of credit. The forms of seal knobs include: inverted bucket knobs, bridge-shaped knobs, turtle knobs, and chi-tiger knobs. The ribbons attached to the knobs include green, purple, blue, black, and yellow ribbons. Han Dynasty officials usually carried their seals in a pouch at their waist, with the ribbon hanging outside. The flanged bracelets and jade pieces with dragon patterns on the jade burial suits are evidence of cultural exchange between the Kingdom of Dian and the Central Plains.

Liangu is really a weekend treasure spot, with many popular attractions, such as the Liangzhu Big Roof, Liangzhu Site Park, National Version Pavilion, and so on💥... However, the Liangzhu Museum I checked in this time doesn't require squeezing through crowds. This spot won't be too crowded, making it really comfortable to stroll around. The whole visit takes about one or two hours... Inside, it includes an introduction to the Liangzhu site, a display of exquisite jade cong, and there's also an open-air lounge area shaped like a jade cong, where you can calm down and learn about the Liangzhu culture. It's a good choice for understanding, and also great for taking kids out for some educational fun...
