Taipei's only three-Michelin-starred "Yigong" roast duck
In addition to being the only three-star Michelin restaurant in Taipei, Yi Gong Chinese Restaurant has also been awarded seven Michelin stars in a row. It is a very popular restaurant in Taiwan but difficult to book a table. However, I heard that it is easier to book a private room with low cost, so I was lucky enough to try it again during a work dinner. combo!
🌟As for the food, it is definitely delicious, but the signature Prophet’s Roast Duck is quite satisfactory; my personal favorites are the must-order Chunfeng Deyi Sausage, Baked Barbecued Pork Buns, Radish Shortcake, Barbecued Pork King, and Fried Tofu Milk🥰
🌟 When the Prophet Duck is served, the waiter will read a poem next to him. I didn’t understand it but I just got an idea of the mood. The Prophet Duck is less oily than the flame-roasted duck, but when paired with the burrito, you can’t taste the tenderness of the duck. , I prefer eating sliced duck alone~
✔️ The Flaming Duck will come to the table to perform, which is quite exciting
✔️You can eat four ducks in one, except duck rolls and duck slices alone, we chose duck porridge/typhoon shelter fried duck rack
✔️I almost think the Hong Kong snacks here are better than the roast duck
✔️The size of rice rolls is about twice that of ordinary rice rolls. The crispiness of the rice net and the firm and juicy shrimp meat have different textures. It is very delicious.
✔️Yi Gong’s fried tofu milk is really the ceiling in my heart💕 Crispy and soft, the layers are just right. When you bite into it, you will find a rich blend of sweet milk aroma and cheese salty aroma, but it is not greasy.
✔️The barbecued pork is delicious, but almost the worst value for money among them
✔️The price of baked barbecued pork buns has almost tripled😞
❌Ask yourself, can this really be called Michelin three stars?
Are our best restaurants in Taiwan really only of this level?
The service staff are eager but definitely not top-notch, and the decoration is not worthy of Samsung's so-called "I'm willing to fly here just to eat once in my life" level. It's super difficult to book a separate table. If it's just to check in with Samsung, the price is really not worth it, and I don't understand. The reason for winning the seventh consecutive term😰
