Qingdao is one of my favorite places to visit in China. If you wanna party, you can go to Angelinas. Intercontinental hotel has a nice bar on the rooftop. Nice place to chill as well. Le Meridian Hotel by the beach is also a must to see. Far from the city center but worth it.

Although the price is on the high side, the value for money is still good considering the sea view room, excellent service and surroundings. In this Q1, Marriott continued the double room night and extra 1,000 points activities, so it is very suitable to come to Le Méridien; This time I booked a basic king room, and I was upgraded to a king sea view suite after arriving at the hotel, which I got by talking to the front desk; the front desk said that the suite might be a little cold 🥶, yes, it is indeed a little cold, and there is also a Xiaomi electric heater; The sea view is really good, so you must have a platinum card, at least you will be arranged a sea view; The executive lounge is still closed, so a buffet is provided as compensation; last year, a set meal was provided as compensation, but the set meal is definitely not as delicious as the buffet; the oysters in the buffet are still very delicious, and they are super big; in this way, the Marriott Platinum Card was upgraded to a sea view suite, plus two breakfasts and two buffets, for less than CNY 400, plus a welcome gift of 1,000 points and 1,000 points for the Q1 event, it is really worth it here! The location is also good, within walking distance to the Mangrove Resort next door, but there are still very few people in winter; the Mangrove is very European, very much like a European town; The beach is right across from the hotel, although it is not suitable for swimming when it is cold; Well, after eating and drinking, go back to the room to sleep, and you can still see the sunrise on the sea tomorrow morning.

I stayed at the Westin (Picture 2⃣️3⃣️), Le Méridien (Picture 4⃣️5⃣️6⃣️) and Four Points Sheraton (Picture 7⃣️8⃣️9⃣️) on the West Coast several times during the off-season in winter. Given that the prices were very close (around 300), I made a brief comparison -- 🎁 Member benefits and services: Le Méridien > Westin > Four Points Sheraton The service attitudes of the three hotels were all OK, and they all took the initiative to upgrade the suites; Le Méridien put welcome fruits in advance, the buffet dinner was not available in the lounge, and the lunch boxes used by Westin; Four Points Sheraton had nothing, and strictly implemented the three-choice-one, and no Trip Coins were given after breakfast was ordered. 📍Location: Le Meridien≈Four Points by Sheraton＞Westin The first two are by the sea and have access to the beach. The swimming pool is far from the room area, and it is very cold in the winter when you walk to the public corridor; Four Points Sheraton is too old, and the hardware in the suites are all broken and uncomfortable to live in. 🍽️Food: Westin＞Le Meridien≈Four Points Sheraton Although Le Meridien provided dinner, to be honest, the overall quality of the food during the off-season was average, the taste was ordinary, the variety was small, and many dishes could not be kept warm in winter. It felt not much different from the level of Four Points Sheraton; Westin's quality control was relatively better. 🥇Recommendation: Le Meridien≈Westin＞Sheraton Overall, Sheraton has no advantages (maybe it is close to tourist attractions in summer, but it is meaningless in winter or when you come to book a room), so it is eliminated directly. The other two have their own pros and cons. If you just want to stay in the room to watch TV and exercise and swim, choose Westin. If you want a sea view and want to go for a walk on the beach, choose Le Méridien.

There are basically no mosquito problems and it is very comfortable to live in. The hotel has a small children's playground suitable for young babies, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools, enriching the leisure and entertainment options for guests. 🧹Sound insulation/sanitation: The sanitary conditions are also excellent and the room is clean and tidy. 💗Other tips: The hotel is located more than 40 minutes' drive from downtown Qingdao. It is convenient to travel by car or take a taxi. If you depart from Nanjing, take the train to Qingdao West and then take a taxi to the hotel in less than half an hour. The first floor of the hotel leads to the beach and the sea. Next to it is the mangrove resort, which can be reached in a few minutes by walking along the coastline. Continue walking forward and cross a bridge to reach the City Balcony, where there are many delicious foods. It is also very convenient to eat around the hotel. There are food streets and shopping malls within a few minutes' drive. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and the butler can deliver the items you need in time. Although there are not too many types of breakfast food, there are freshly made dumplings and French fries are also very delicious. The original format of HH was closed and changed to a Chinese set meal, but I didn't try it. If you go to the beach in the morning, you may see a lot of small black bugs, but they will disappear after the tide rises. If you come to Qingdao for vacation, this hotel is very suitable, and it is one of the few Marriott hotels in Qingdao with a balcony. However, if you come here mainly for tourism, it is not recommended because it is far from the city, it is a long way to drive, and it is also troublesome to take the subway.

The Yellow Sea is naturally a blue sea, and most of the time it presents itself to the world in a deep blue color. If you catch a sunny day, you will have the illusion of moving Sanya to Qingdao in the hotel. After all, Langham Place on the West Coast and the resort hotels in Sanya are identical. Walking through the garden from the hotel, you will arrive at the seaside in a few minutes. It is indeed extraordinarily unique to be favored by so many celebrities and social elites. Located right on the beach, this five star triumph has balcony rooms looking right onto the beach and sea. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pools in summer and breathe in the sea air for your morning walk. The hotel is modern and international with its own Starbucks inside the lobby. The breakfast is fantastic and I even tried the dinner buffet which was wonderful.
