Adult only Bar hopping vibes in Hong Kong
#musicfestivals #100waysoftravel #party #music #bar
I attended a music festival at Lan Kwai Fong, and it was an unforgettable experience.
The vibrant atmosphere of this iconic nightlife district was electrified by a diverse lineup of performances, from local bands to international DJs.
The energy was palpable, with enthusiastic crowds dancing and enjoying the eclectic mix of genres and bar hopping was fun.
The street’s lively bars and eateries added to the festive vibe, offering a variety of food and drink options. Lan Kwai Fong’s unique blend of modern excitement and historical charm provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable musical celebration. I highly recommend this festival for anyone looking to experience Hong Kong’s dynamic nightlife scene.

Went to Hong Kong for three days! These are the essence~
When you come to Hong Kong to play, you must understand these things!
Help you get twice the result with half the effort‼ ️
·
✅You can’t skip this step of exchanging Hong Kong dollars. It will be much more convenient to have some Hong Kong dollars on hand. I highly recommend you to go to Huitong to find out. Their location is quite advantageous, right in the center of Sheung Wan! After changing, you can directly visit several nearby attractions such as Tai Kwun, Lan Kwai Fong, etc. You can visit them all~ Not only can you make a reservation on vx before going there without having to wait in line, but it is also of high quality. Merchants approved by the Travel Service Plan provide considerate services. If you plan to travel abroad, you can even exchange currencies from different places here, which is especially convenient!
·
Address: Shop A1 and B, G/F, Sai Ying Building, 1-3 Wing Lok Street, Central, Hong Kong Island
The currency exchange rate is adjusted from time to time, and everything is subject to the announcement of the Huitong Exchange.
·
✅Of all the map software, Google map is the best and has the fastest response time!
·
✅ Prepare a pair of comfortable shoes for your outfit! The reason why Hong Kong is so popular is that there are a lot of mountains. You can see that the locals usually carry backpacks and wear very light clothes. The simpler and more casual the better, otherwise it will definitely be a lot of trouble!
·
✅Ding Ding Bus|Bus Ding Ding bus usually looks at the starting station, and the bus looks at the route number. You have to ring the bell in advance before getting off! The bus will announce the stop, and the bell is next to the seat~

Lan Kwai Fong Japanese Brunch Hong Kong
Located in Hong Kong central, in the heart of Alan Kwai Fong, the Japanese Restaurant “Tokyo Joe” is a cozy place providing a good selection of traditional sashimi, traditional sushi and signature dishes.
Ideal for casual dining, family meals and birthdays.
Good food and good service.
Nice bottles presentation to serve sake.
They provide all you can eat food during weekends brunch and also additional free flow for wine and sake.
The place generally doesn’t allow pets , but the service team was very nice at me, allowing me to keep my pet in the bag.
The sashimi selection is excellent, there are shrimps, tuna , hamachi, scallops, scampi, tuna belly and more..
wine selection could be improved, but the sake was very nice.

🇭🇰 LKF Lan Kwai Fong
A steep slope street with many bars and restaurants on both sides of the street. It is located in Central, Hong Kong and you can always see many white collar office workers congregating here. It is always crowded and you can see many “gwai-lo” here too and they are foreigners in Hong Kong. It is an expensive district and the prices are slightly costlier here. This area is extremely popular especially during festivals such as St Patrick’s Day, Christmas and New Year eve. This street also appears in many Hong Kong movies and dramas too.
*photos are taken before pandemic and HK is not open for travelling yet but I will be there soon :)

Have a Christmas holidayin Hong Kong is also a good choice! On the Causeway Bay pedestrian street, a group of students sang a Christmas carol in a group chorus. The giant Christmas tree at IFC is also dazzling. Lan Kwai Fong can feel the joy of young people! The harbor city is also sparkling! During the Christmas season, there are also big promotions in the malls, which can be happy shopping. #merrychristmas #christmasjoy

One of the streets where you will find lot of pubs and bars which become lively from 10:00 PM onwards especially if its a saturday night. All variety and ranges of bars and discs are there as per your pocket but if you are planning to visit any high end bar then do wear formals. These streets are safe and you can end up spending 300 HKD to 3000 HKD depending upon the place. Taxis are avaialble pretty easily but ensure that you carry your passport or hotel keys in case if any police checks your age.

Even though Halloween was on a working day, the people of Hong Kong took the streets of Lan Kwai Fong in the most beautiful costumes. Ranging from latest movie characters to cure little honey bee. This street saw a variety of styles. People not only wore costumes but also had matching accessories like feathers and head gear to support the attire.

Place name: Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong
Transportation: Exit D2 of MTR Central Station, walk along the cinema and step onto D'Aguilar Street. Walk along the path of Shangshan from the exit of Pedder Street in Central Metro Station. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Central Police Station, the Foreign Press Conference and Lan Kwai Fong.
In most people's impressions, Lan Kwai Fong is a bar street.
But I have been there many times, but I have different feelings.
The artist's personal exhibition is often held here. While enjoying the paintings, you can also chat with the painter and drink red wine.
There are many beautiful wall paintings and graffiti, which attract young people from all over the world. Come to take a group photo;
There are a lot of uniquely decorated cafes and fashionable buildings, so even if it is coming during the day, it is a good place for street shooting;
If you are special in Halloween, etc. The festival is over, the excitement here is beyond your imagination. Almost everyone has cosplay into various anime characters, and the key is very realistic ~

Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong: The busiest night market area in Central, a must-visit spot for tourists!
I believe the term 'Lan Kwai Fong' is not unfamiliar to everyone, as it is synonymous with trendy bars, and thus well-known among the youth. However, the famous Lan Kwai Fong is not a brand of bars but a street in Central, Hong Kong. It gained fame in the last century as a bustling hub of bars and has become the liveliest night market area in Central, a place that tourists must check in.
1. Location: Lan Kwai Fong is located in the most bustling and lively area of Central, Hong Kong. It is a mid-to-high-end consumption area dominated by bars and restaurants, consisting of roads and alleys such as D'Aguilar Street, Wellington Street, Wyndham Street, On Lan Street, Wo On Lane, and Wing Wah Lane.
2. Highlights: During the day, you can appreciate the crisscrossing Hong Kong-style alleys, and at night, experience the nightlife of old Hong Kong. You can also reminisce about the bar scenes from Hong Kong movies of the 80s, which is quite interesting.
3. Transportation: Public transportation to Lan Kwai Fong is very convenient, with most buses on Hong Kong Island providing direct access. It's just a 200-meter walk from Exit D1 of the Central Station on the Island Line and Tsuen Wan Line of the MTR.
4. Nearby Attractions: There are many scenic spots around Lan Kwai Fong, such as the Bank of China Tower, Hong Kong Park, the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator, Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the Central Ferris Wheel, Victoria Peak, and more.
5. Accommodation: Consumption around Lan Kwai Fong and its vicinity is relatively high, especially in terms of accommodation, which offers low cost-performance ratio. Generally, a hotel room of 12㎡ with a three-star or comfortable standard costs no less than 800 Hong Kong dollars. It is advisable to stay in places further away from Lan Kwai Fong.
6. Dining: Compared to accommodation, there is a wider selection of restaurants near Lan Kwai Fong. As a gourmet capital, Hong Kong has many affordable cha chaan tengs (tea restaurants) in the alleys of Central. Below the Central to Mid-Levels Escalator, there is a food street with an average consumption of 50 Hong Kong dollars, so everyone can choose according to their budget.

Hong Kong Trip Jan 2026
I recently spent 4 days in Hong Kong and had an amazing time! My hotel Butterfly on LKF was conveniently located near the MTR station, making it easy to explore the city. The public transportation system was efficient and easy to navigate. Be sure to try the local dim sum and roast goose – delicious! The Victoria Peak tram ride offered breathtaking views, and the Temple Street Night Market was a fun experience. Don't forget to explore the Mong Kok district for a taste of local culture. Overall, Hong Kong is a vibrant and exciting city that has something for everyone. Can't wait to go back!
