🏝️ Private Beaches for Free – Koh Yao Yai, Thailand
📍 30 minutes from Phuket, but a world away from the crowd
✨ We found ourselves walking on a beach with no one around. Just the sound of waves, birds, and our own footsteps… It felt like time stopped.
If you’re dreaming of a honeymoon that’s quiet, soulful and truly private, Koh Yao Yai is the one.
Forget the parties of Phuket or the crowds of Phi Phi — this island is all about reconnection with nature… and with each other. 🌿
✅ Why it’s perfect for couples:
– Empty beaches, even at sunset
– Small roads to explore on a scooter, hand in hand
– Local life is calm, welcoming and deeply respectful
🌅 Our days ended with golden skies and hammocks under the trees.
🍛 We had paneang curry chicken with the original satay from one of the most reknown places of the island : the “Seaside restaurant & bar”, with of course, a pad thai. All of that by the beach during nighttime. simple, fresh, perfect.
🕌 Muslim-friendly? 100%. Local community is mostly Muslim, halal food is everywhere, moosques all around the island. Even the beaches ask for women to dress modestly !
💸 Our bungalow with a sea view cost less than 30€/night (breakfast included) at the “Thiwson Resort” which provided an amazing breakfast buffet with both local and western food. Note that we also rented our scooter there, they were brand new and very cheap. Peace has never been so affordable.
📸 Here’s a glimpse of what a truly private honeymoon can feel like 👇
Would you trade Phuket for this paradise?

Koh Yao Yai, everyone loves it.
💑 Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province 💑
ALOHA!! Another round. Today, I will take you to visit an island. The island is "Koh Yao Yai", which is really big as its name suggests. It made my wife so small. Haha. So I decided to travel by my favorite car for convenience. Let's take the car on a boat to the island.
🏝 Koh Yao Yai has beautiful seas, clear water, and 99% of the locals are Muslims. Therefore, Pork Lovers will have to accept it. There will definitely be no food to eat.
🏖 Koh Yao Yai is quite quiet and suitable for a real vacation. There are many beachfront accommodations to choose from. Food is very easy to find. It is perfect for foodies like my wife who never gets tired of looking for food, which is completely different from working hours....
⛴ It is easy to travel. You can take a boat from many piers and many places... It is also good to take a car because the island is very big and wide. There are many motorcycle rental shops, or you can just hail a taxi up front. It's not too crowded.
💸 The cost of living depends on the accent used in the negotiation. However, even if you speak in a neutral or foreign language, the price is still not expensive compared to the quality you receive.
💎 The main tourist attraction is probably "Laem Hat", one of the scenes in The Mechanic. But let me tell you that each sunset viewing point has a similar Stanning View.
"Then you will fall in love with Koh Yao Yai like me."

Laem Had Beach
#getgoing2025
Laem Had Beach. Sitting on an unmistakable spit of sand the white sands here jut out into the clear blues of the bay. For the views it is best to visit here towards low tide when it feels like you could almost walk to little sister island of Ko Yao Noi. The moon-like crescent of beach becomes an Instagrammer’s delight.
The backdrop is an equally idyllic mass of lush tropical vegetation with a grove of coconut palms along the beach - the perfect place to hang your hammock

🏝️Travel to the separated sea "Laem Beach, Koh Yao Yai"
🏝️Travel to the separated sea "Hat Laem, Koh Yao Yai" UNSEEN Phang Nga, soft white sand, clear blue-green sea, the charm of the Andaman Sea 🌊🌤️
🏝️Laem Hat, Koh Yao Yai, pure and peaceful nature. When the tide goes out, the tip of Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi beaches will meet, stretching out into the sea like a broken sea. It will occur around 13.00-14.00 and become a beautiful photo spot. Tourists can go swimming and canoeing because the water is not deep. It is also a beautiful and romantic sunrise and sunset viewing point. The reputation of the beauty of Laem Hat, Koh Yao Yai is so famous that it has been nicknamed "The Maldives of Thailand". If anyone has a plan to visit Phang Nga, I would like you to come and see the beauty of Laem Hat at least once. 📸🤩
📍Location: Laem Hat, Koh Yao Yai, located in Koh Yao Yai Subdistrict, Koh Yao District, Phang Nga Province
