Bangalore is a beautiful city in India with abundant historical heritage, such as palace and temple. You can also have delicious authentic South Indian food here. There are many stores that sell scarves and sari and I will introduced every place I went and the must-try food in this post. Must-Visit Attractions 📍Bangalore Palace: The inside is so beautiful. There are many paintings, sculptures, and photos of the old times. However, photos are prohibited which is why I only took photos of the outside of the palace. 📍KR Market: Going to the market is always a must when going to a new country because you can see the authentic life of the interaction of the local people. There are many colorful spices and fruit and vegetables sold at the KR Market. I get to learn about the local tropical climate food, which is very interesting to me. 📍Lalbagh Botanical Garden: This garden can be dated back to 1760. It is full of historical significance in Bangalore. There, you can see many tropical plants in India. 📍ISCON Temple: Krishna is one of the major Hindu Gods. If you like the Hare Krishna movement, ISCON Temple is the main temple for it. You can join their meditation every morning from 4a.m. and attend their courses on Hindu studies. It’s a very sacred place. You can visit it even if you’re not religious. 📍Nandi Temple: In India, cows and bulls are sacred, and Nandi is the bull of the Hindu God, Shiva. 🍛Indian Cuisine - Dosa (South India) - Idli (South India) - Palak paneer (my personal favorite Indian food) - Ladoo (sweets) - Kesar Peda (sweets) - Bangalore coffee (Bangalore is known as the coffee capital of India) 🥥Coconut! I love that fresh coconut is everywhere here in Bangalore, so whenever I need some drinks to cool myself down in this hot weather, I can have fresh coconut water to enjoy🥰It is my favorite drink in India, and it’s so delicious and healthy. This is part of the reason why I love India so much!! 🥻🧣Bangaluru Saree Udyog I bought my first saree and three scarves for my parents and myself. Their scarves are made of authentic silk, so it’s very good if you want to buy gifts for your family and friends. They really provide good quality fabric and products. 🏡Accommodation The Hosteller Bangalore, Koramangala The staffs there are really nice. The hostel provides good and comfortable shared-community spaces, so I got to make some new friends there. We had a nice walk in the garden. Noticed some skateboard practising on our way. Even though lot of construction at present going on, it’s worth a walk. One can cherish being in the green nature. It’s a house of many different species of insects and plants. We were lucky to notice some.

The city center is full of skyscrapers and traffic, with a modern atmosphere, and people from all over the world are full of vitality. Walking in Bangalore Palace and Govt Museum, the weight of history is overwhelming. It is worthy of being an ancient civilization, with unique and charming architectural styles, which are somewhat similar to Angkor Wat. Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a pure land in the noisy world. With only 50 rupees (about 5 yuan) for a ticket, you can enter a quiet world, breathe fresh air, enjoy a moment of peace, and the fatigue disappears instantly. ISKCON Temple is full of incense, and it is crowded on weekends. There are fortune tellers around, and the traditional atmosphere is full. The modern commercial center RION is equally wonderful, integrating shopping, dining, and entertainment. Starbucks, Haagen-Dazs, Nike, and other brands can be seen everywhere, making shopping and leisure a perfect combination. In one day, I went to the ancient temple two hours away from Bangalore to experience the piety of entering the temple barefoot and feel the charm of traditional architecture. KR Market is another lively scene. It is not only the first place in Asia to be electrified but also a famous flower market, full of colors and fragrance. The process of buying flowers is a sensory feast, and the memories left are bright and long-lasting. The food is also not to be missed. At Long Boat Brewing Co, there are all kinds of dishes, such as American, Indian, and Asian, with a variety of drinks, and the taste buds are full of joy. In January, the average temperature in Bangalore is 27°C during the day, so it is suitable to wear cotton and linen clothes. At night, the temperature drops to 15°C, so warm coats are needed. It is the dry season with little rain, so remember to drink more water. This city is clean, safe, and wonderful, completely overturning my first impression of India, and it is worth a visit!
