📅 Itinerary
Day1: At 5:00 pm from Shanghai by high-speed rail Nanwei, around 6:30 arrived at the booked B&B - Joyful dormitory, (we booked a loft double bedroom, double bathroom, if it is four girlfriends is good). Although the B&B is located in the scenic area, it avoids the hustle and bustle. The interior decoration is both modern and Jiangnan style. After afternoon tea, we followed the instructions of the front desk guy at the bed and breakfast and started a night tour of Nanwei Ancient Town. The night view of the ancient town is beautiful.
Day2: Sleeping until you wake up naturally in the morning, after tasting the B&B Gangnam-style breakfast, watching the light rain outside the window, bringing rain gear, really experienced the smoke and rain of the south of the Yangtze River, in the occasional smoke and rain began the daytime tour of the ancient town. Some of the tourists tasted morning tea in the ancient town, some leisurely enjoyed the scenery and various Jiangnan specialties, visiting Dingsheng cake, specialty pickles, sauce pork hands, small roast cakes, etc.
Day3: After breakfast at Joyful Lodge, we changed to the Wanda Le Méridien Hotel and prepared to leave for a tour of Huzhou City. We took the bus to Nanwei high-speed rail station, admiring the city of Nanwei, clean streets, white-walled and black-tiled buildings, a small town with a very Jiangnan charm. After nearly half an hour by high-speed rail, we arrived at Huzhou High-speed Railway Station. We still chose to take the bus to Xiaoxi Street, passing by Xiaolianzhuang on the way. Little West Street is worth a visit, and each of its alleys embodying local characteristics will make you unable to resist clicking the shutter and leaving beautiful photos. After visiting Xiaoxi Street, I went to Yichang Street to taste the lunch of Ding Lianfang, a century-old shop with local characteristics. It was very characteristic and delicious, especially the crab claws. We also bought a bag in the store, ready to return to the hotel as a snack. Feed the stomach, take a short rest, head towards the ancient town of Taihu Lake, here are beautiful night views, and caught up with the intangible cultural heritage performance, playing iron flowers, fire kettles, water flying people, very spectacular.
