It is only a few hours away from Paris by high-speed TGV train and is close to other European countries such as Germany, Luxembourg, and Belgium. Although it is a city worth visiting all year round, many attractions are indoors, making it suitable for sightseeing even in cold weather. Annecy (Figure 3) If you travel to France in winter, there is a must-visit place, which is Annecy. Located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France, it is only about 42 kilometers away from Geneva, Switzerland. This destination is full of exciting activities all year round, but winter is the charming season for sightseeing.
