[2025 Coquitlam Attraction] Travel Guide for Lafarge Lake Park (Updated May)

I visited the Lafarge light at Coquitlam. The lights were amazing but it was incredibly crowded. I felt suffocated and couldn’t walk on my pace because it was crowded. Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam is about 40 minutes by car from downtown Vancouver. The highlight of Lafarge Lake in winter is the illuminations! Take the Yellow Line SkyTrain and get off at Douglas Station. If you drive there, you can park your car at the bus shuttle parking lot, which costs 1 yuan for 4 hours, which is also very convenient. See Canada geese, mallards, and more here. The lake water is clear, the waves are sparkling, the breeze is gentle, and there are tourists walking around in groups of three or five, feeling extremely relaxed. The water droplets from the fountain in the center of the lake can form a rainbow, which is very beautiful.
