Railway fans will punch cards! The Kyoto Railway Museum
was originally a museum to go to check-in in order to hide from the rain. I didnt expect it to be more interesting. The whole museum was super super large. I thought it would be almost the same for an hour or two, and the result was almost the same. ...In the pavilion, I actually came out from early morning to near dusk~ I have to sigh that the history and culture of the railway is also very worth seeing. The
Kyoto Railway Museum has not been in operation for a long time. It has only been two years since 2016, but there are many very classic models on display: steam steam, pre-war royal sleeper bus, Japanese national railway classic KUHA103 , 0 series Shinkansen, Tokaido Shinkansen, etc.
Introduction can be seen on the station platform display platform, there are existing group physical vehicles on display, the interior of the vehicle is the same as our usual car, you can also go in and take a rest (Figure 3, 4)
In the first floor of the main building, it introduces the history and structural characteristics of modern railways. Personally, I like 230-233 on the first floor of the main building. It is the oldest surviving country in Japan. Steam locomotive, super cool! (Fig. 5) The
1st floor also exhibited the world's fastest Shinkansen tram 520-521 at a speed of 300km/h in 1996, and the Japanese National Railways representative cover type express exchange tram Thunderbird (Figure 6 There are many interactive experiences on the 7/
1 floor, such as simulating railway tracks, repairing car experience when repairing tracks, etc., and actually going to the cab of the vehicle to see, even my adult is very curious ~ those The children are really enjoying the fun in the hall. The
2 floor is mainly for some experience driving vehicles, restaurant lounges, etc.
When I feel that it is almost over, I suddenly found that the second floor can be directly connected to the fan-shaped garage (Figure 8). This battle was also seen for the first time. Later, I found out that it was an important cultural property designated by the Japanese state. I didnt know how to operate it. When I went back that day, it was dusk. I experienced the steam engine in the garage. I was lucky enough to see the whole vehicle. The warehousing process: while rotating dynamically, a roll of changing direction of the turntable. A representative steam locomotive used during the Meiji Road Showa period is also on display in the fan-shaped garage.
It is strongly recommended to take the experience steam locomotive of Figure 9 and drive back through Meixiaolu Park all the way back and forth for about 10-15 minutes.
Railway fans don't miss it! ~
