Winter in Kuerdening, a dreamlike landscape
Despite the cold winter, my desire to travel remains undiminished. I have heard that the scenery in Kuerdening is extraordinary, so I set off with great anticipation.
The wind howls across the wilderness, and snow dances in the air, turning the world into a vast expanse of white. Upon arriving in Kuerdening, I am greeted by a range of mountains, their peaks covered in snow, majestic and awe-inspiring. The distant mountains, dark against the snow, seem like barriers to a fairyland, protecting this pure land.
Walking through the forest, the snow crunches underfoot, as if whispering the silence of winter. The pine trees stand tall, their branches laden with snow, resembling blooming pear blossoms or warriors clad in silver armor, proud and graceful. A few crows flit among the treetops, their cries adding to the solitude.
By the stream, I find the water frozen. The ice is smooth as a mirror, reflecting everything around it. Cracks run across its surface, like the veins of the earth or the marks of time. Frost flowers adorn the grass by the bank, sparkling like winter spirits, watching the changing seasons.
Strolling along the path, I come across a few wooden houses, hidden among the snowy trees. Smoke rises from their chimneys, warm as spring. Through the window, I see the residents brewing tea, enjoying their cozy life. The aroma of tea fills the air, and I am invited to join them. We chat happily, and I learn that they have lived here for generations, finding joy even in the cold winter.
After walking a few more miles, I reach an open area. The snow is thick, like a soft blanket covering the ground. I bend down to touch it, feeling its chill, yet also a refreshing sensation. The distant mountains stretch endlessly, the snowy sea merging with the blue sky, creating a watercolor painting.
As the sun sets, its rays turn the snow golden, casting a dreamlike glow. The mountains, forests, and streams are all draped in a golden veil, breathtakingly beautiful. The cold wind blows, making my clothes rustle, but my heart is filled with joy and wonder.
On the way back, I reflect on the day's journey, filled with emotions. The winter in Kuerdening, though cold, is full of beauty. The grandeur of the mountains, the purity of the snow, the warmth of the wooden houses, all leave a lasting impression.
Life is short, like a fleeting moment. If one can find such a place amidst the hustle and bustle, to enjoy the changing seasons and appreciate the wonders of nature, it is enough. May time stand still, and the beauty remain, bringing peace to the heart, unafraid of the cold or the chaos.
I record this winter journey to express my feelings, hoping that future travelers can also experience this beauty and appreciate nature's gifts. When winter comes again, we shall gather here, to write a new chapter, a blessing in itself.
