🚗 Transportation: It's convenient to drive or take a taxi. It's about 30–50 km from Suzhou or Shanghai, which takes less than an hour.
🏠 Accommodation: My friend and I booked a whole villa. The first floor has a living room, bath room, and dining room. The second floor has two guest rooms. The third floor has a loft guest room. The villa has a south courtyard and a north balcony. Behind the villa is a village river with lush scenery that is so healing! The entire villa is decorated in an American country style, with a great aesthetic. The large white walls and wood 🪵 and linen create a natural and vibrant "home."
The environment made me fall asleep as soon as I lay down. 😄
🙎 Service: The 24-hour service is meticulous. After booking, you'll receive location and parking instructions. When you arrive at the lobby, the butler will let you choose your favorite aromatherapy. In winter, if you want to take a bath, tell the butler in advance in the group chat. No matter what time it is, they'll come to help you with the water and bath bombs. The attentive service is what makes a good resort hotel!

There are also children's play facilities, and in winter, you can enjoy tea by the fire and take a bath at night. This is paradise! It's also nice to take a walk in the surrounding countryside during your free time.

After returning to China, I had a relaxing two-day trip with my child in Kunshan, and this hotel is really amazing!
Kunshan two days and one night, staying at the Xidi Aranya Resort Hotel, the overall style of the hotel leans towards Southeast Asian style. We booked a 180-degree lake view suite, and from the balcony, you can see the swimming pool, and further away, the lake view. The expanse of greenery is truly refreshing!
I must say that the service is simply too good. As soon as I parked the car with my child, a butler came over to help me with my luggage.
The room is also very clean, with both the washbasin and shower room being very tidy. I must mention that their hotel's bath products are all from Italy's PARMA – it feels like such great value.
The hotel also offers a complimentary buffet afternoon tea, and the breakfast is a fusion of Chinese and Western buffet, with quite a variety! Right next to where we had breakfast, there's a children's playground, and taking a walk on the country lanes after a meal is really relaxing for both the child and me, it's also a form of self-relaxation!

When the weather warms up, it's time to go outside for a walk
On the rest day, I took my child for a relaxing drive from the west of the city, and after 40 minutes we arrived at Ji Jia Dun. There are quite a few homestays around, and we finally stayed at the Xi Di A Lan Ruo Resort. I visited Ji Jia Dun several years ago when the surroundings were still under construction. Now it has developed much better. March is just the right time for the rapeseed flower season, where you can enjoy the flowers and take photos. The most distinctive feature here is this big duck.
After booking the hotel, the merchant will set up an exclusive group in advance, where they will send a check-in guide, address, restaurant opening hours, wifi password, local weather conditions, and where to park 🅿️ (parking is free in Ideal Village), which is very thoughtful.
🏨 I really like the design style of the homestay. The rooms are mainly in a log style, with a fresh atmosphere. When checking in, we were allowed to choose our own essential oil aromatherapy and bath products. The butler helped us with our luggage and took us to the ground floor large bed room with a yard, which has a large bathtub that my child loves to soak in the most. They also prepared a cake and welcome fruit for us, and everything in this box in the room is free to drink～👍 Next to the hotel's Chiang Mai restaurant, there is also an outdoor children's play area, where parents can free their hands. We originally booked the boathouse afternoon tea, but it was too hot today so we changed to experience the riverside afternoon tea under the shade of trees. The fruits are all freshly cut, and then we took a walk around the village. When we returned to the room, we found that they had prepared a sleep 💤 eye mask and silver ear soup on the table, which was so considerate.
In the evening, we had Western food at the hotel. The environment was beautiful, with a full atmosphere, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The steak was firm and juicy, making it the perfect place for a date.
The next day, we also had breakfast at the eatery. We had to go to the second floor of the Ideal Village convenience center. The restaurant environment was clean and tidy, with both Western and Chinese options available. The staff reminded us that there was red soup noodles and mustard wontons, which could be freshly made. The breakfast service ends at 10 am, and the waiters would come to remind us to add more dishes at the last minute.
After breakfast, we went to pick strawberries 🍓 in Ideal Village before heading back. The butler would help us with our luggage and take it to the parking lot 👍. Every service person was very enthusiastic, and they would all proactively greet us. While waiting for the check-out inspection, they would also pour tea for us.
Ideal Village is also very close to Jinxi Ancient Town. 🚗 It's just a ten-minute drive, and if you have enough time, you can go for a stroll.

This week, I brought the human cubs to Kunshan Jijia Dun, just 1.5h away from Shanghai~
It's a resort village that combines dining, accommodation, and entertainment 🎉
You can row boats in the village, take the kids on a mini train, cycle through the rice fields, and more...
Without too much commercial atmosphere, it's a village where one can find peace 🍃
For our three-day and two-night trip, we chose to stay at "Xidi Aranya"

The hotel also has a 🆓 non-powered amusement park, and while the cubs are playing, you can order a pot of tea by the stove~ Enjoying baked milk tea while watching the cubs play 🛝
For dinner, we went to the hotel's Western restaurant 🍴 Salad 🥗 Steak 🥩 paired with red wine 🍷

For a vacation, I found another good place to go. It takes just over an hour to drive to this luxury resort hotel. Eating, playing, and taking photos can definitely help you shake off all your fatigue and give your soul a relaxing and healing experience.

The hotel is built by the water, the external environment is similar to Southeast Asian style, the architecture is mainly white, with a strong sense of design, infinity pool plus various plants, every shot is very photogenic.
The hotel has a total of 37 rooms, we stayed in the luxury waterfront terrace three-bedroom villa, when the weather is good, you can go to the terrace to drink tea and chat while enjoying the lakeside view, it's really cozy. The room is mainly in natural wood color, pursuing a small but beautiful, wild yet elegant style, every detail is about quality and detail, in addition, the room is also equipped with an iPad, capsule coffee machine and Panariga California cinnamon water, the scent is light and elegant, I really like it. What surprised me most was the free snack box with a high aesthetic value.
Another unique feature of the hotel is the five-piece bath set, there are three types of Parma water to choose from, I chose the blue orange scent which I like. In the evening, you can also experience a rose petal spa bath in the hotel, it's too romantic, it's very suitable for couples or girlfriends, the atmosphere is full, while bathing, you can also have a cup of hot red wine, it's very ceremonial.

The most commendable thing about this vacation is the hotel's meals, we had all three meals at the hotel:
▪️Just like the Western restaurant, the two-story design, the environment is high-end suitable for luxury gatherings, the light from the floor-to-ceiling windows seems to increase the appetite, what surprised me is that, in the Jiangnan water town, you can also experience the five-course Western meal, it's really a very thoughtful restaurant.
▪️The Dock, we spent a great afternoon tea time at the dock, the cabin is decorated in a classic and elegant style, you can enjoy the lake view outside the boat window while having tea, it's very relaxing.
▪️Wild Luxury Selected Restaurant, the restaurant has an exotic atmosphere, a strong Southeast Asian atmosphere, the dining area has camping tents + heaters, both independent space and warm, chatting with girlfriends while eating coconut chicken hot pot, it really feels like being on vacation in Bali.
I have to give their service five stars! Before check-in, the butler will contact in advance to send detailed information, after arriving at the parking lot, a golf cart will be sent to pick you up. The service throughout the stay is very thoughtful, the service attitude is also very good, soft-spoken, proactive but not overly enthusiastic.
