As the name goes which loosely translates from Chinese to Master of soup, it is indeed a restaurant specialised in all sorts of chinese tonic soups. The soups are prepared and brewed extensively until the broth becomes so rich and thick. We ordered Imperial seafood thick soup, double boiled sharks fins in superior soup which all tasted so rich and full of flavour. The side dish Stir fried beech mushroom and crunchy lotus root with honey brown sauce is also very good. The mushroom and lotus root is very crunchy and tasty and full of flavour. The dried scallop porridge with whitebait was okay but nothing fantastic. However, it has a super generous amount of dried scallops that i got tired from eating that many at one go that i had to waste them. We will definitely return for more soups! #Soupertang #ksl #jb

I recently booked and stay 1 night at KSL hotel and had a good experience. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The location is just next to KSL mall and you can do lots of shopping here. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance from this hotel. The price i paid for the room is also very reasonable. There is a swimming pool and you can walk in to have a good massage at lobby. There is even a Starbucks here to get your coffee and cakes. Overall I enjoyed my experience staying at this hotel and I will come back to book this hotel again. I have walked past several times but never got a chance to dine here as it is always crowded on those times i walked past. Today, i finally got the chance to try it! It was easy to place order and food was served quickly. Food was good, but the waffle fries were so crispy that you cant taste the potato in it. It’s a typical Chinese restaurant setting and you feel completely at ease as if you are in HK. It’s meant to be a supper after our massage and hence we didn’t order much. Tried the tri-mix roast meats with rice. It’s really good. The char siew and roast pork have the right amount of fat and you will not feel oily. For the Irish duck, the meat is tender and flavourful too. Prices are reasonable but for us, it’s a good deal. Would have costs a lot more for the same standard in Singapore. I have been visiting KSL City Mall too often until I know their mall activities. This is a live animal farm for the children. You pay one-time fee per entry and you can stay as long as you like. However, the farm is not very big but they have all the domesticated animals. They even have peacock and it is a good opportunity for the children to get close to these animals. The farm also sell pet food for the animals and you can choose to buy and feed them. Some of the animals are inside the cages and some are free-roaming. There is even a baby sheep and still drinking milk from the milk bottle. Starting from 1RM for a token, I believe this is the cheapest claw machine ever! I have seen people getting some of the soft toys in less than 5 trys, and it's those really huge ones. Each time is a different masseur but the standard is quite consistent. Would be the cheapest massage parlour in KSL Mall. I would recommend as there are big comfy seats that recline for foot massage and a huge movie theatre that plays latest movies. There are also female and male masseurs available upon request to ensure that you are comfortable. Place is clean and also has their own restroom. Not all masseurs are well versed in English but can understand basic English.

It is a building on its own and it has spiral staircase to go up to their rooftop. At night, the whole area is illuminated with fairy lights. There is also a bakery inside the store and you can get fresh or ready to eat meals here. At the rooftop, you can choose between aircon seating or outdoor seating. It is a short grab ride away (5 mins from KSL City Mall) and easy to find address on the grab app. The design is mainly cement screed and bare. To some, it may look like it is unfurnished. But the clever soft furnishings give the whole place a zen vibes. There are many seats catering to different groups, sofa seat for bigger group, couple seat and counter seats for single customer. Passed by a new smoothie shop that doesn't sell bubble tea but a menu with interesting drinks like birdnest series?! The shop is famous for mungbean slushie and you can top with brewed pure birdnest toppings! The birdnest series is about 37RM per cup. I ordered the black sesame bean milky smoothie for 14RM which comes with oat toppings. It is a unique refreshing change although I think it will be nicer if the ice is blended more finely.
