Monument of Kruba Srivichai, the way up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
Every morning, monks and novices from many temples walk down from the mountain
Come to collect alms. We wait here. There is a shop that prepares food
Water, snacks, fruits, arranged in sets for us. Just bring yourself and the money you have
Pay a blessing, receive blessings, handsome, beautiful, rich together 😁
After giving alms, we can go and pay respects to Kruba Srivichai
There will be a flower shop, incense, candles, waving to us
Until we want to drive the drift car out 😅
But no, we intend to make merit. Gather all the courage we have
Then close our eyes and walk to any shop, buy flowers for 20 baht 😅
Get the flowers, incense, candles you want, then go and pay respects to the sacred things
There are many places to make merit. Monks pour water on Buddha images all year round Come to Chiang Mai, come here everyone 😊
📌 Monks and novices walk down the mountain in a row to collect alms
It's another atmosphere that makes us feel good ❤️
📌 In the morning, when the weather is nice, monks start coming down at 6 am
📌 For those who want beautiful pictures while making merit, the vendors we buy food from
give alms and are always our photographers😆

Paying Respects to Khruba Siwichai for a Blessed Journey
Stop by the Khruba Siwichai Monument 🙏
Before heading up Doi Suthep, take a moment to pay respects and seek blessings for a smooth journey. It is believed that paying homage to him before ascending the mountain will grant you the power of faith and safety.
“Khruba Siwichai” was a revered monk known for his compassion and strong faith. He was a significant religious and cultural figure, especially known for building and restoring temples. He initiated the construction of the road up to Doi Suthep, which has become a crucial route for pilgrims visiting the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep today.

📍Worship the monument of Khru Ba Srivichai, the saint of Lanna Thai.
Kruba Sriwichai is a respected figure among the Lanna people. A monument was built at the entrance to Doi Suthep for people to pay homage. According to the scriptures, he was the one who initiated the persuasion of the Lanna people to build a road up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan. The project began on November 9, 1934, and was completed in 1935, covering a distance of 10 km. The only tools used to build it were a hoe and a pickaxe, but it took only 5 months and 22 days to build. On the side of the monument, there are stories and events related to the construction of the entrance to Doi Suthep in the form of wall sculptures, and there are also photos of famous Lanna monks. We recommend stopping by to pay homage for good fortune.
Front of the building, there are flowers, incense, and candles for sale 24 hours a day.

A sacred place of Chiang Mai, 'Kruba Srivichai'
#VisitChiangMai The monument of “Kruba Srivichai” is an auspicious place of Chiang Mai that I would like to recommend tourists who visit Chiang Mai to stop by to pay homage and ask for blessings. Or if anyone has a spiritual side, I recommend it. Whether it's asking for a blessing or making a vow by offering boiled eggs, many people have visited here and have had their wishes come true. Paying homage or asking for blessings is not difficult and you don't have to prepare anything complicated. Because in front of the monument, there are flowers, incense sticks, and candles for sale, starting at 20 baht. You can make an offering and there will be instructions on how to do it.
You can come to pay homage every day and at any time, 24 hours a day. The monument of “Kruba Srivichai” is located on the way up to Doi Suthep. (I would like to recommend a tip for tourists who want to try asking for a blessing on a boiled egg. Try to come every evening or early Saturday night. From what I've seen in the reviews, it is considered a good time to ask for blessings.)

On the way up to Doi Suthep, stop by to pay homage and ask for blessings from Khru Ba Srivichai for good luck 🙏🏻
Khru Ba Srivichai is known as the saint of Lanna Thailand and a revered figure that Chiang Mai people respect and believe in up until today. The story of Khru Ba Srivichai is very much connected to the history of Chiang Mai because he played a role in restoring dilapidated temples, monasteries, and ancient sites in the North to bring them back to life. Importantly, Khru Ba Srivichai was the one who initiated the persuasion of the people of the North to join forces to build a road from the foot of the mountain to Wat Phra Borommathat Doi Suthep, or he could be called the one who pioneered the route up Doi Suthep, which gave us the opportunity to admire the beauty of nature and the atmosphere of Lanna civilization today. In addition, many people believe that just by paying homage to Khru Ba Srivichai, it is like paying homage to the Phra Borommathat.
At the same time, there is also a merit-making ceremony for monks in the morning at the Khru Ba Srivichai area. Tourists should dress appropriately. If it is not convenient to prepare alms by yourself, there are vendors selling alms. To the faithful in that area
