Poland changes in autumn ⛰️
#fallcolors
Autumn in Poland was a magical experience! I spent most of my time in Kraków, where the streets of the Old Town looked even more charming with the trees turning shades of gold and red. Walking around Rynek Główny, the largest medieval square in Europe, is free, and the colorful autumn backdrop made it feel like I’d stepped into a fairytale.
I also took a trip to Zakopane, nestled in the Tatra Mountains. The hiking trails were covered in fallen leaves, making the scenery absolutely breathtaking. Entry to the Tatra National Park is about 6 PLN (€1.50), and it’s worth every bit for the stunning views. Autumn in Poland is the perfect time to explore both its cities and nature! 🍂🏰🏞️

Krakow - Clock Tower
The clock tower is located in the main square. On Mondays it is free to visit, I registered on their website for the free tickets but when I got there to collect them, I was just given a free ticket without even telling them I had already registered (maybe this was due to visiting in a non-peak time (November). Otherwise it’s 18PLN The tower has 3 floors you can enter, the top level is where the clock machinery is located and has 3 view points, the doors are locked and you can not go out onto the balcony. I spent about 15mins there and the views were nice #krakow

Sausage and cheese, Poland must eat food!
When it comes to Polish cuisine, the first reaction of many friends is sausage. Authentic Polish sausages are enough for you to eat at the gourmet market in Krakow, Poland!
In addition, the special smoked feta cheese from the Tatra Mountains is definitely not to be missed. This is the best cheese I have ever eaten in Europe.

My beautiful Krakow 🇵🇱
#summerdestinations
I recently spent a day in Kraków, and it was everything I hoped for and more! The city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere captivated me from the moment I arrived. I started my day in the heart of the Old Town at the Main Market Square, one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe. The atmosphere was buzzing with street performers and horse-drawn carriages. I couldn’t resist visiting the iconic St. Mary’s Basilica; for just 15 PLN (around $4), I was treated to breathtaking views of the Gothic interior and its famous wooden altarpiece.
Afterwards, I strolled through the Cloth Hall, where I picked up some unique souvenirs, including amber jewelry. Then I made my way up to Wawel Castle (entrance fee: 30 PLN or $7.50), a must-see! The castle grounds are expansive, with stunning views of the Vistula River. The blend of Renaissance and Gothic architecture is truly something to behold. I also took a guided tour of the Wawel Cathedral, which added so much depth to the experience.
For lunch, I enjoyed a hearty plate of pierogi in the Jewish Quarter, Kazimierz, which is a short walk away. The district’s eclectic mix of cafes, art galleries, and historical sites made it a great place to wander. If you’re up for a bit more walking, the Schindler’s Factory Museum is nearby and offers a poignant look at Kraków’s World War II history.
Kraków is a city where history meets modern charm, and it’s a place I’ll never forget. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! 🇵🇱✨ #trip #KrakowExperience #PolishAdventures #HistoricKrakow #Wanderlust #CityOfKings

Beautiful Krakow
Beautiful city, perfect for a romantic weekend. This square located in the heart of Krakow is full of nice restaurants and pubs, affordable and with a lovely variety of local foods and drinks. It gets very lively at the weekend as it is also a destination for stag and hen dos. We were also lucky to find local markets over the weekend, offering local food and souvenirs.#mytripvlog #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #krakow #poland #traveleurope
