This is the hotel we stayed at when the four of us went to Korea for Jihoon's birthday! There was a sofa and a desk so we ate there and took photos⭐️ When we stayed there, there were two king-size beds, but I think we could have chosen when booking! The bathroom had a bathtub. The sink was very spacious so we were able to put on our makeup together!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it was just a short walk from City Hall Station. #0yentripnovember The best thing about Koreana Hotel is that it's easy to get to tourist spots. Perhaps because we checked in after midnight, the staff was a little brusque, but I was grateful that they helped me to the elevator since I had a lot of luggage. I booked a deluxe room, so the large space where I could spread out two trunks was great. It's unfortunate that the facilities are old. The TV was new, but the kettle and sink were old, which was a bit sad. There is a corner where you can use the washing machine and microwave, and I think they have all the items you need for a long trip. It's also convenient that there is a convenience store and cafe below the hotel. Also within walking distance is Gwanghwamun Gukbap #광화문국밥본점, a popular restaurant for tteokgukbap and naengmyeon, opened by Park Chan-il, a famous Italian chef who is listed in the Michelin Guide. The clear soup is filled with thinly sliced, tender domestic black pork. Throw some rice into the soup to make a soup. So tasty on a chilly day. You can also add salted shrimp to change up the flavor. If you're staying at the Koreana Hotel, I definitely recommend this.

When we went to Korea, it was the peak tourist season, so the hotel prices were really expensive. Considering that we should have a one- or two-pack, we used to stay in a hostel and squeezed in, but now we are looking for something more comfortable and close to the subway station. In the end, we chose the Koreana Hotel, which is in the middle price range, has a large room (you can throw things around), and is 5 minutes away from the City Hall Station. We were a little nervous when we read the reviews at first, after all, many people said it was old and smelled old, but we really had no other choice😂 When we arrived, we found that the lobby had actually been renovated, so it was quite clean and bright👍🏻 The room also has good lighting, a sofa and a long desk, plenty of space for activities, and the bathroom facilities look a bit old, but are very clean. The bed was very comfortable and big, but when I went there at the end of March, they were still turning on the heating 🫠 so we could only open the window at night to make the air less hot. Also, the equipment is indeed old (I thought the kettle was going to explode). The TV, lights, hangers, and coffee are all old models. It’s not a big problem. If you only require cleanliness and comfort, this is not a problem. Transportation is indeed worth a bonus. I used to live near Hongdae. From City Hall Station, I can walk to Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Hongdae, and Seoul Station. It is very convenient. The key is that I don’t have to drag too far when walking. I don’t have to worry about catching the bus or running out of things when shopping at Lotte Mart/Myeongdong. This was my first time staying at this hotel. When I checked in, I told them my name and showed them my passport, and they showed me to my room right away. The room was very clean and I really liked it!! There was a CU on the first floor, so it was very convenient to go there and satisfy my hunger. The hotel was within walking distance of City Hall Station and Gwanghwamun Station, and it was easy to catch a taxi in front of the hotel and the bus stop was nearby, so it was very convenient ( * ॑꒳ ॑*) I would like to stay at this hotel again!

The Koreana Hotel has a somewhat antique feel both in the building and the interior. Unlike recently built hotels, it is old but clean and well-managed. I visited more than 3 times. Thankfully, they upgraded my room every time I went, so I could enjoy different room conditions every time. There is a separate parking tower next to the hotel for the parking lot. I don't think there are many hotels with this much parking space in the center of Seoul. I recommend this hotel when traveling to Seoul because the location is really good:)
