This is a place full of religious culture. In addition to being known as the father of whirling dance, there are also many magnificent mosques around it. In Aladdin Park you can find the Aladdin Kequbat Mosque and the Tile Museum, while near the Archaeological Museum you will find the Sahib-i Ata Cami and the Madrasah.
These places are all worth exploring and are not far from each other, so you can visit all the attractions in about 20 minutes on foot.
Did anyone notice it? Almost all mosques and museums in Konya use Tiffany blue or dark blue elements in their design, which look very beautiful when combined with the mosques.
It is worth mentioning that in Konya, except for the Tile Mosque, which requires a ticket of 20 lira, other attractions are free to enter. 👍🏾

Considered to be one of the first residential cities in the world, Konya is a town in the Central Anatolia region in Turkey, towards the south of Ankara. Konya houses numerous mosques and museums and is most popular for the Mevlana Museum, the burial site of the world-famous poet Rumi. It is also the best place in Turkey to experience the Whirling Dervishes ceremony.
Konya is known to be one of Turkey's oldest continuously inhabited cities. It is also the city to see the world's first human settlement, urbanisation, and animal domestication. Primarily a hub for the growth of Sufi culture, Konya was once the capital of the Seljuk Turks or the Sultanate of Rum. It is known for its magnificent Seljuk architecture and intricate designs on the tombs of the elderly. Konya is an excellent alternative to Istanbul; free of the hustle and bustle of the big city, it is an ideal holiday destination for people who love to travel in quiet places with a hint of history.

Mevlana Square is a very grand and beautiful place right next to the Selemiye Mosque, which carries the great spirit of the city.
Hundreds of people rest and pray here every day.
You can visit the mosque, museum, and tomb right next to it, and visit the shops across the street to buy souvenirs.
It is a safe and clean place, so you can look around and rest without any worries.
If you go inside the alley across the street, there are many restaurants with good prices and a view of the square.
