[Shizuoka] Photogenic spot in Ito City: "Komuroyama Ridge Walk"
I'm Katie, and I love Izu.
This time, I'll introduce "Komuroyama" located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on the east side of the Izu Peninsula.
Komuroyama was originally a spectacular spot where you could see the sea and Mt. Fuji, but it was renovated in April 2021 and has become even more popular.
◆To the summit◆
Komuroyama is a small mountain with an estimated height of 321m, so you can walk to the top in about 15 minutes, but you can also take a one-person lift from the base.
It seems that pets (small dogs) can also ride with you.
[Round trip] Adults: 800 yen Elementary school students: 100 yen

◆Komuroyama Ridge Walk "MISORA"◆
The renovation has created a wooden promenade "Ridge Walk "MISORA"" that goes around the summit.
You can enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, the coast of Atami, Mt. Omuro, and more.
◆Komuro Shrine◆
The shrine enshrines Atago Daigongen, the god who protects against disasters, Kotohira Okami, the guardian deity of sea disasters, and Hi-Musubi Okami, the god of fire.
It is said to bring good luck in road safety, household safety, business prosperity, academic success, and career success.
◆Cafe・321
This is the highlight of the renovation.
All seats have ocean and sky views, and cafe patrons can also use the wooden deck with its spectacular views.
The observation deck, which is made of glass on both sides, is especially popular as a photogenic spot.
