This weekend, we decided to go to pattaya and Koh larn, from pattaya pier, it costs us 30 bhat to get to the island. there are lots of beaches where you can gettin tanned and swim. one of my favourite ones is Nual beach and Samae beach! long and white sand, the water is crystal clear. there are also lots of viewpoints where you can appreciate the beauty of the island. there are few Buddhist temples and statues of Thai monks on the island. if you like hiking, Tawaen and windmill viewpoint will be your top 2 stops on Koh larn. the last ferry to go back to pattaya is at 6pm, so we are pretty lucky to experience the golden hours on the island, and watch sunset on the ferry! anyways, lovely place and it’s close to Bangkok. perfect for your weekend trip #passionpassport #gooutside #beachlife #bucketlistreboot

The main advantages of Koh Lana are white-sand beaches and clear transparent sea, where you can go snorkeling and diving. The coast of Pattaya has long been known as not the best place for swimming, so tourists who come to the resort prefer to spend time on a boat trip and relax on the island. Usually they leave for Koh Lan in the morning and return to the mainland in the late afternoon.

Super easy! How to get from Pattaya to Koh Larn quickly and easily: 1. Take a taxi to Bali Hai Pier. 2. After arriving at the pier, go to the big boat at the end of the pier. The fare is THB 30 per person (other speedboats cost THB 150 per person, but they are only 10 to 20 minutes faster. I don't think it's necessary, but it's up to you). 3. After arriving at Koh Larn, you can rent a motorcycle for THB 200. But since my friend and I can't ride motorcycles, we chose a "pickup truck" instead! The fare is THB 30 per person to the beach. 4. How to choose a beach? I think all the beaches are great for taking photos! The key is to plan your time! If you have enough time, you can visit several different beaches. Another check-in point on Koh Larn is here, "Pha Na Yak", another sunset viewing point on the island that is very high. The view is very good. ⛰️ This cliff is on the way to Nuan Beach. It is before reaching Nuan Beach. Look to the right. When you see a pavilion on the side of the road, you will find the entrance (there is no sign here, you have to look for it yourself). The entrance is a small road with motorcycle tire tracks. Ride along the path. 🥾 The path is as shown in the attached picture. It's a bit difficult, so be careful. Ride to the end of the road and you will see a fence as shown in the second picture. Park your car and walk. Follow the path with an orange ribbon tied to it (still no sign). It's not a long walk but it's a bit steep. *For those who are allergic to grass, please wear long pants. The grass is tall and itchy. 🌅 Follow the path and you will find this viewpoint. It is very beautiful and worth the effort. Take care of your safety. There are no officers at the top and some areas do not have barriers. It's a cliff that goes down. Be careful. *If you stay until the sun sets, it will be very dark. Koh Larn is a wonderful little island located in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Larn is situated about 7km off the coast of Pattaya Beach and Pattaya is only about a two hour drive south of Bangkok, depending on traffic. The Island is about 4.5km long and 2km wide and about 180 meters at the highest point. The terrain is mostly mountainous which is covered in most part with heavy vegetation. Infrastructure is mainly narrow roadways covered with brick paver's. Some of the roadways are very steep and only wide enough for two motorbikes to pass by each other, but most roads are suitable for regular traffic.

I've been to Pattaya so many times but today is my first time visiting Koh Larn Island. I took the boat from the public pier, Bali Hai, in Pattaya (located at the end of the Walking Street. The trip to the island took me about 40 minutes. All the ferries are on time and very easy to buy the ticket. Once you arrived at this island, you can go to have a nice Thai lunch and have a cheap drink. #mytripvlog
