kiriwong village👍🏻bridge
#timetotravel
The second wooden bridge in Kiriwong is truly a hidden gem. Not only is it incredibly picturesque, but it's also remarkably sturdy and serves as an essential pathway for the villagers, connecting them to the bustling morning market area on the other side of Kiriwong village.
What adds to the charm of this bridge is its lighting fixtures. Although they weren't illuminated during my visit, they likely come to life in the evening, casting a warm and enchanting glow. Standing in the middle of this bridge provides a captivating vantage point to admire the majestic views of the river and the surrounding mountains. It's an ideal spot for a tranquil and leisurely stroll, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the area.

I embarked on a motorbike journey to the sacred village of Kiriwong in Thailand. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a serene atmosphere, with a prominent Buddha statue adorned with fresh flowers and offerings. Adjacent to the Buddha statue stood a small shrine housing three golden monk statues.
Behind this shrine, I discovered a Buddhist temple, adding to the sanctity of the place. Kiriwong Village, nestled in tranquility, provided a unique and spiritually enriching experience.

European style accommodation in Kiriwong Village
If you're thinking of a luxurious and affordable place to stay in Kiriwong Village, I recommend Curdow & Sand Villa.
The accommodation here is decorated in a European style, so every corner of the decoration is beautiful, both outside and inside the bedroom, especially the bathroom is very luxurious. As for the photo spots 📸, I must say that there are plenty. Most importantly, it's close to Kiriwong Bridge, just a short walk away. Come relax your body, mind, and cleanse your lungs here, I must say that it's very cool. There's a promotion right now, the price is only a few hundred baht per person, but the view and nature are worth millions.

Baan Kiriwong
Located in Kam Lon Subdistrict, Lan Saka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, this ancient community migrated to the foothills of Khao Luang. Originally, this community was called 'Baan Khun Nam' because it was near the headwaters from the peak of Khao Luang. Later, the name was changed to 'Baan Kiriwong,' which means a village surrounded by mountains. It's very beautiful with stunning natural views and pure air. In the evening, there are many tourists, and children enjoy playing in the water. The atmosphere is very pleasant. If you don't know where to go on your day off, try visiting Baan Kiriwong, and you will fall in love with it.

Kirivong... The Heart of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come live a simple, chill, slow life at "Kirivong Village", renowned for having the best air quality in Thailand, located in Lan Saka district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, in the south. 😃😃 This small village is hidden and surrounded by mountains, offering ever-refreshing views and is guaranteed to have air purity beyond standard levels. There are plenty of activities to do here, like renting a bicycle to tour the village, visiting various cafes and restaurants, taking check-in photos at the Kirivong Bridge, Khlong Tha Dee, which is a landmark spot you must capture. Or you could stroll on the suspension bridge, play in the water at Nan Hin Tha Ha, a very popular spot with riverside restaurants for a chill dining experience. For those with limited time, a one-day trip is also feasible. As for me, I'll stay overnight to inhale the pure ozone to my lungs' content, because such great air is hard to find for someone living in Bangkok. Do try to visit!

Khiriwong bridge, Tha Dee canal👍🏻
#timetotravel
I arrived at the Khiriwong Bridge over the Tha Dee Canal in the evening, just as darkness was setting in. This bridge is a stunning sight with its pure white color, seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings.
Standing on the bridge, I was treated to breathtaking views of the river and the mountains. This bridge serves as a vital link for vehicles traveling to and from Kiriwong Village, so there was quite a bit of traffic. Walking across, I had to be cautious and watchful. Nevertheless, it was well worth the visit for the scenic beauty it offered, especially at dusk.

kiriwong village small market eat durian👍🏻
#timetotravel
Arriving at the market in Kiriwong Village was a charming experience. Although the market was small with just a few stalls, it was brimming with local warmth and character.
I purchased a durian from a fruit vendor, and the owner was incredibly friendly, even helping me open it. Tasting it right there, the durian's flavor was truly delightful. For those who love durian, its fragrance is irresistible, but I understand that its strong aroma may not appeal to everyone.
What surprised me was the incredibly low price – only 20 baht for this delicious durian! Kiriwong Village left me with an indelible impression, with its down-to-earth and friendly people, set amidst the stunning natural surroundings.

Kiriwong Village is located in Kamlon Subdistrict, Lansaka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. It is an old community that migrated to live at the foot of Khao Luang, Kamlon Subdistrict, which is the route to Khao Luang. The villagers have a peaceful way of life like relatives. The main occupation is mixed fruit gardening called "Somrom Garden" such as mangosteen, longan, durian, and sataw. Kiriwong Community is a model community in managing the ecotourism business. It received the Best Tourism Industry Award (Thailand Tourism Awards) in 1998 in the city and community category because it is a community that has a way of life like a gardener living with nature. And has developed tourist services into a new business of the community, including guiding, trekking, porters, and arranging homestay accommodations. By establishing an ecotourism club as a central organization of the community, it divides tasks to different groups to create widespread community participation. Coming to visit Kiriwong Village is considered very worthwhile. Because in addition to visiting an area with beautiful nature, you will also get to experience the villagers' way of life and eat local food.
