[2025 Manchester Stay] Travel Guide for Kimpton CLOCKTOWER HOTEL (Updated Mar)

Manchester has always been so attractive. it’s not as big as London but it also has everything that you need. we spent 2 days in Manchester and we stayed in Kimpton Clocktower hotel. The building is an old room however the room is still stylish and cosy. The hotel put several Christmas trees in the public area. we really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend it!

The decor is well thought out, and the lobby is spacious and bright with many cozy corners to relax in. The rooms are also designed with comfort and aesthetics in mind. 🥂 Facilities and Services: The front desk staff are friendly and efficient, and the check-in process is smooth. The hotel has a great bar, The Refuge, and a delicious breakfast buffet. 🍽️ The cocktails are highly recommended, and the in-room breakfast on Sundays is a must-try. 🛏️ Room Experience: The rooms are spacious, the beds are huge and very comfortable, and the bathrooms are great with good water pressure in the showers. The rooms are equipped with a safe, iron, hairdryer, and even snacks. 🍫 🌟 Details: The hotel pays attention to the little details, such as providing free soy milk and a pillow menu. The only downside is that the rooms near the train station can be a bit noisy, so earplugs are recommended. 🍴 Nearby Recommendations: During your stay, try The Laundrette, Hungamaa Chorlton, and Annies. Jasmine, a Lebanese restaurant across the street from the hotel, is highly recommended for its authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine. 🤤 Overall, Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is highly recommended for its location, facilities, and services. The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is part of the IHG hotels group. The building was originally built in the 1890s to house a famous insurance company. This luxury hotel has over 334 rooms and is a complete maze to find your room. Expect to get lost! The rooms are huge with the highest ceilings we have ever had in a hotel room. There are lots of creative and thoughtful touches in the hotel such as old signs which date back to the buildings original use and a selection of famous local snacks. The bar is well worth checking out too with more historic touches and a great selection of cocktails. Compared to many other cities, accommodation in Manchester is reasonable priced and you can find rooms in this hotel for around £100 per night. This is a bargain when you consider the space, quality and history. However, be prepared, it is suggested that room 261 is haunted with reports of sounds of children playing at night. #timetotravel A great hotel with remarkable location, close to the City Centre . very clean and tidy, the room was fabulous and big with a nice bathroom. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with anything you require. the hotel lobby is an eye catching specially the Horse statue and the Roman writings on ceiling. Highly recommended if you are visiting Manchester.
