Khlung Kraben Bay Royal Development Study Center

The Khlung Kraben Bay Royal Development Study Center focuses on both the conservation of natural resources and the promotion of local livelihoods. It aims to maximize the benefits of natural resources. Located in Khlong Kut Subdistrict, Tha Mai District, Chanthaburi Province, the center features a 1,600-meter-long wooden walkway for nature study. Along the path, visitors can see various plant species such as small-leaved mangroves, large-leaved mangroves, red mangroves, white mangroves, sea holly, and sea hibiscus. Additionally, visitors can observe charming mangrove animals like mudskippers, mangrove crabs, and various bird species. The atmosphere of Khlung Kraben Bay is quite shady and cool due to the trees covering both sides of the path. There is also a memorial for the dugong, which used to be abundant in Khlung Kraben Bay but is now extinct.
