Tired at Khao Lom Muk, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
>> Khao Lom Muk, Wing 5, Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province <<
Open only on weekends, Sat-Sun and long holidays (depending on weather conditions). Open for walking up from 6 am - down before noon only.
If you want to see more than just the sea, climb a mountain.
Khao Lom Muk is about 1 km from the starting point to the top of the mountain.
It is divided into 7 zones.
Start with zones 1-2, which are concrete stairs. This is a warm-up area. It makes you sweat a lot because of the unusual steepness (you will be out of breath).
The end of the stairs starts from zone 3, which is a dirt road alternating with rocks. You have to start climbing ropes and walk alternately all the way. The steepness is not that steep, but there will be some sections and you have to climb rocks the whole way. Until zone 5, this area has a very beautiful view. There are places to take pictures.
If it rains the night before you go up, the path will be very slippery. You have to be very careful.
When you enter zones 6-7, it will be the last section. This zone is the most challenging and difficult. It is a climb with a slope of almost 60-70 degrees and the rocks are very sharp. There will be many officers to take care of this point.
After this point, it will be the peak of the mountain. Yay!!
At the top, there will be many viewpoints and photo spots. There is a sign indicating that we have conquered Khao Lom Muk.
The view from the top will see the sea 360 degrees and small islands with the sea parting below. If you can climb up, you will definitely feel less tired.
The most essential equipment ***
1. 1-2 liters of water per person. I emphasize this. I have warned you because it is very hot.
Below are some for sale, but if you're late, they'll be gone and won't be replenished.
2. Sneakers
Recommended equipment
1. Gloves because you'll have to climb ropes almost the entire way, plus the rocks are sharp.
2. Long pants, shorts, if you fall, I'll tell you that you'll definitely bleed.
3. Smelling salts, mosquito repellent spray
4. Hats, it's hot up there, there's not much shelter from the sun.
*** Prepare your body, I'm telling you, it's tiring, if you can't handle it, don't force it. 🫰🫰🫰🫰
