Autumn in Glasgow 🗺️
#fallcolors
Autumn in Glasgow is absolutely magical! The city’s parks come alive with vibrant colors, especially in Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens, where the leaves turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. I spent hours just wandering through the tree-lined paths. The best part? It’s completely free to enjoy these outdoor spaces. The crisp autumn air made exploring even more refreshing, with nearby attractions like the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, where entry is also free!
The weather was cool but not too chilly, making it perfect for cozying up in one of Glasgow’s many cafés. I particularly loved grabbing a hot chocolate at Café Gandolfi before heading over to the West End for some local shopping and live music. The architecture in the city is stunning, and autumn really highlights its charm. 🍁🍂🌆

Artsy Glasgow 🏴
An hour away from Edinburgh is the big city of Glasgow! A very artsy place to be with a blue police box paying homage to the Tardis from Doctor Who 🤗
Kelvingrove is a must visit, with gorgeous decor, rare and ancient artifacts, as well as lots of amazing exhibitions to look at. My personal favorite was a Salvador Dalí original - the painting of Christ of Saint John of the Cross. A gorgeous Surrealist art piece not to be missed 😍
Back in town, the willow tea rooms is a popular spot for afternoon tea, especially among the locals. Fans of burgers should also give Bread meat bread a try! 😌
The University of Glasgow is also a gorgeous place for some nice photos ☺️

There really is all sorts in the museum and gallery. You can find some famous art works alongside stuffed rare animals and artifact’s from Scotlands history.
The museum is free to visit and we spent some time in the lovely tea shop in the museum which did fantastic tea and scones. Apparently this is one of the most visited museums in the whole of the UK.
The area itself where the museum is located is nice too, we enjoyed a long walk around the museum and found some nice restaurants within walking distance.

One of the popular visitor attractions in Glasgow!
It is one of my favourite museums that I would recommend everyone to visit as you get to see the diverse Scottish pieces and international art.
My friends and I visited during weekends where sometimes they will have choir singing session and you are allowed to walk around the museum and visit various exhibition or even taking pictures.
My favourite is the exhibition of various emotions and their historic building with black and white tiles that is suitable for picture taking!

Excellent art gallery and museum
It has been quite pleasant and free in Glasgow. I did the cathedral, necropolis and then the Kelvingrove museum and art gallery by paying nothing. I like that and makes me appreciate things even more. The museum and gallery exhibits a wide variety of subjects, starting from evolution to Scottish history art and even a section dedicated to Glasgow style works by mackintosh. The gallery is quite well laid out.
I was told that with most Scottish galleries the entrance is complimentary and donations are accepted. Another advantage of the free entry is it definitely motivates you and sort of allows your pocket to get something from the souvenir shops.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum was initially designed mainly in Spanish and Baroque styles, incorporating many historical elements of European architecture. Both the interior and exterior appear very substantial, with many details and strong visual impact. The interior is decorated with large blocks of light yellow-gray stone. The combination of natural large stone blocks allows one to feel the immense financial and material investment during the peak of the British Victorian era.
