Where Locals Line Up for Pork Noodles
#kotakinabaluguide
Walking past Kedai Kopi Melanian, I noticed a crowd forming even before 9 a.m.—always a good sign. I decided to join in, and oh boy, no regrets! The menu was packed with options, but I went with the meat and liver soup combo with dry kuey teow.
The soup came piping hot, the liver was surprisingly soft (not rubbery at all!), and the broth had this strong umami kick. The iced tea helped cut through the richness. Highly recommend arriving early to beat the crowd!
