Türkiye Stop 3: A Fantastic Journey from Istanbul to Denizli
Hey guys 🥰, today I'm going to share with you the third stop of Z&Z's world tour - the wonderful journey in Türkiye!
🌆 First Stop: Istanbul
This place is full of religious buildings, and the Blue Mosque 🕌 and Hagia Sophia ⛪ are simply stunning! Under the blue sky and white clouds or the sunset, the domes of the churches and the minarets of the mosques are so beautiful that you can't take your eyes off them. The Blue Mosque has six minarets, which is a high-level mosque, and the blue and white tiles inside the mosque are decorated with exquisite floral patterns, simple and beautiful. Hagia Sophia, with its superb Byzantine style, has preserved murals on the second floor, with deep colors and a sense of history. There is also the Bosphorus 🌊, where you can buy a ticket to the pier at sunset, choose an open-air two-story boat, and enjoy the 23-minute boat ride, watching the sunset and feeding the seagulls, which is extremely romantic!
🎈 Second Stop: Cappadocia
Goreme Town, with its karst landscape and hot air balloons 🎈, is a romantic place to be in the morning when the hot air balloons rise; in the evening, when the town lights up, it feels like a fairy tale world. The Kaymakli Underground City, with its eight-story structure and four-story opening, was built by the Hittites in the 8th century BC, and has everything from bedrooms to kitchens, with ventilation wells and defense systems that show the wisdom of the ancients.
🌊 Third Stop: Kusadasi
A small town on the Aegean Sea, where many people enjoy tea and chess at seaside restaurants at noon on weekdays, is very relaxing. There are pigeons 🕊️ everywhere, after all, the name means Pigeon Island in Turkish. The ancient city of Ephesus, a well-preserved classical city, with its stone columns, the statue of Artemis, and other remnants of buildings, will take you back to the Roman era.
🏛 Fourth Stop: Denizli Province
The ancient city of Hierapolis, once a royal spa resort, is now in ruins. Pamukkale, with its travertine terraces, is yellowish-brown on the edges in winter and snow-white in the middle, and the water is cold 😆 and it needs to be watered regularly to keep it snow-white~
