[Shizuoka] Limited time only! Free! Look great with colorful wind chimes 📸 The largest wooden one in Japan
The rainy season has begun and we are heading towards summer ☀️ What do you think of when you think of the sound of summer? Well, it's wind chimes 🎐 (←forced) There is a historic temple associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu that is decorated with wind chimes at this time of year!
Today, I would like to introduce "Kasui-sai" in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture
[Highlights of Kasui-sai] ------------
You can see the colorful wind chimes and worship shown on the cover without paying the admission fee 🤩
You can enjoy it just by itself, but I would also like you to visit the areas that require an admission fee‼ ️
Not only are the halls beautiful, but Kasui-sai also has the largest wooden toilet in Japan (Daito-ji)! I was really surprised by the sight of something I'd never seen before! And you can actually use it 🚽
This is a unisex toilet, but don't worry, there are separate toilets for each gender 😁
You can also enjoy vegetarian cuisine while looking at the garden! There are various options, from those that require reservations to those that don't 🍚 Those that don't require reservations are 1,500 yen, and those that do require reservations are 2,000 to 3,500 yen. It's rare to find shojin ryori at this price, so we recommend you try it!
*The price may have gone up.
What's more, this shojin ryori is made by the leading figure in the shojin ryori world, "Koganeyama Taigen Osho," so you can be sure it's delicious!
----------------------------------------------------------------
That's all!
What do you think? The Wind Chime Festival is being held from May 25th to September 1st at the Enshu Sanzan, including this spot, Sonei-ji Temple in Hotaisan, and Yusan-ji Temple in Iozan ✨
Please go and check it out!
