[2025 Kasuga ] Travel Guide for Kasuga Park (Updated Apr)

We visited Kasuga Park in Kasuga City, Fukuoka Prefecture, a sweets shop in Fukuoka City, and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. We started out in Fukuoka City and had macarons at a shop in Jonan Ward that matches Showa Bio Naturel. They also have one inside Hankyu! After that, we relaxed at Kasuga Park, then headed south to Dazaifu and ate Umegae Mochi! #QuintessaCampaign

#thingstodo Spacious, peaceful and convenient park. There is a sand playground, a large jungle gym made of rope and a zip line. It is not crowded even on weekends and really nice that you can rent mats and various balls at the mart in the park. Nice place for family picnic! There is a small convenience store I side and plenty of drink vending machines...........

It is a very large and beautiful park with tennis courts and baseball fields. You can enjoy the four seasons, such as cherry blossom viewing in spring and maple leaf hunting in autumn. In addition to cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, there are other flowers in bloom that are soothing. Many people set up tents on the grass and have picnics. There are also playground equipment, so it is perfect for children to play. There are toilets everywhere.

The park is full of big trees, has a nice marathon course, and is so full that you can't park your car on weekends. When I was attending the nearest high school, I didn't think much of it, just a marathon course, but as time passed and I reached an age where I was healed by nature, I realized again how wonderful the park was, and I come here occasionally for walks with my mommy friends. When my children were small, there was play equipment and a basketball hoop, so I used to bring them here sometimes. I think it would be more popular if they had a cafe like Ohori Park.
