Egypt is a nation filled with open-air museums everywhere!
Driving 500 kilometers from Cairo, you reach Luxor, where the attractions are divided between the East and West Banks. A must-experience is the hot air balloon ride at dawn, which only cost us a little over 400 RMB for two people, making it the cheapest hot air balloon ride in the world. After landing on the West Bank, you can continue to visit the Temple of Habu and the Valley of the Kings, which are very conveniently located. The main attractions on the East Bank are the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. The Karnak Temple is the prototype for temple parkour, remember to go in the morning, or else the huge columns will quickly be out of light; the Luxor Temple can be visited in the afternoon and evening, as it is lit up at night, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
West Bank: Temple of Habu, Valley of the Kings
East Bank: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple

Beautiful Karnak Temple in Egypt
It’s worth to book a trip to Egypt only to visit the Karnak temple. Its so awesome!!! It was great to be able to discover the history from this place. 👏🏻 Many pharaohs have been here. The entrance fee is less than 5 dollars and you have some restaurants near to it. Don’t forget to take a water bottle cause it can be very hot inside. You will forever remember the Temple of Karnak!

The oldest city in Egypt, a mysterious miracle thousands of years ago! Shocked to say no words
Luxor is the lowest-tune city in Egypt. It was known as the capital of the hundred gates thousands of years ago and stands proudly in the world. Those magnificent temples are undoubtedly the best witnesses of the Pharaoh civilization.
It is said that each stone statue is up to several tens of meters, and the lotus relief on the lotus relief symbolizes the unity of the upper and lower Egypt. They are like historical comic strips, hiding ancient secrets. Between the broken walls and the ruins, history has never been like smoke.
Tips: The temple is the best light before 9am, you can wear a bright red dress gown and sway between the pillars; after noon, the shadows are slowly skewed and the shadow area is over Big, but not easy to produce.

Visiting Karnak Temple in Luxor was a breathtaking highlight of my summer vacation. This colossal site, located about 3 km north of Luxor, has an entrance fee of around 200 EGP (about $6), and it’s worth every bit. The ruins of the ancient city of Luxor are located 670 kilometers south of Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and are a world-famous tourist destination. The recorded history of Egypt begins here, so it is also known as the 'Pearl of Upper Egypt' and is the place that best represents the collection of ancient Egyptian civilization's cultural relics.

Located on the east bank of the Nile River, 700 kilometers south of Cairo. The ruins occupy the northern half of the eastern city of Thebes at that time. It is connected to Luxor, 1 kilometer to the south, by the Avenue of Sphinxes (see Sphinx), where there is another temple of Amun. Since the Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom dynasties ruled the entire country from Thebes, the local god Amun was regarded as the protector of royal power and became the most important among the Egyptian gods. The Amun Temple here also became the largest and wealthiest temple in the country.
The ancient Egyptian Thebes Amun Temple. It was built during the Middle Kingdom period and began large-scale construction during the New Kingdom period, continuing until the end of Greek rule. The main hall has very spectacular columns, with the pillars and walls covered with carvings and hieroglyphic inscriptions. The famous 'Annals of Thutmose III' and inscriptions related to the Battle of Kadesh by Ramses II are carved on these pillars and walls, providing strong physical evidence for historical research.

I saw the huge statues that added a special grandeur to the place. The silence and tranquility of Karnak offers visitors a spiritual experience and an opportunity to reflect on the remains of the ancient Egyptian civilization. It was an amazing experience that reminded me of the greatness of the past and the legacy of humanity.

Explore the sacred temple of Karnak in Egypt
Karnak Temple (Egypt) is considered the largest outdoor museum in the world. This temple with mysterious and majestic beauty is one of the places that attracts many tourists in Egypt.
Karnak is the largest temple architectural complex in ancient Egypt. The temple is located about 800 km from Cairo, located in the ancient city of Luxor. This location attracts visitors with its complex architecture of stone pillars, worship halls, unique pointed or square towers and many giant statues.
Karnak Temple is a place to worship the sun god Amun-Ree. The complex was built between 1580-1160 BC by about 30 successive Pharaohs. Each king made his own mark on the temple with stone pillars, unique patterns and motifs. This was also the main place of worship for the Pharaohs for nearly 2,000 years.
The most attractive feature of this temple is the monumental pylon (entrance gate) with many giant arched columns. Any visitor entering this space seems to be overwhelmed by hundreds of stone pillars nearly 16 meters high and more than 1 meter wide in diameter, carved with exquisite drawings.

Luxor Karnak Temple, feel the place where the sun rises!
In the golden desert of Egypt, hides an ancient and mysterious treasure—the Luxor Karnak Temple. 🏺 Not only is it the world's largest open-air museum, but it is also a magnificent building that has witnessed countless historical changes. 🏛️
Due to the flooding of the Nile, some of the temple's murals have been damaged by water erosion, but these imperfect beauties still tell the story of ancient Egyptian civilization. 📖 The construction of the temple is a deep reverence for the god Amun-Ra, completed jointly by more than a dozen pharaohs including Seti I, Queen Hatshepsut, and Thutmose III. 👑
Among them, the contributions of Ramses II are the most eye-catching. His mark is scattered in every corner of this temple, as if showing off his glory and power to the world. 📜
Walking among these huge columns, you will find yourself as if in the living room of the gods, where the sun god rises every day, a symbol of light and hope. ☀️ The 134 columns are covered with exquisite murals, each one a tribute to the wisdom and art of the ancient Egyptian people. 🖌️
Back in school, I always looked down on ancient Egyptian art, thinking it was too orderly and lacked a human touch. But when I actually set foot on this land and witnessed these great relics with my own eyes, I deeply felt my ignorance. 😲 Every stone and every mural here contains endless stories and wisdom.
Come on, let's explore this unparalleled open-air museum together, feel the charm of ancient Egyptian civilization, and let our souls wander through the river of history. 🛶 By experiencing this shock personally, you will find that this place is not just a relic, but a dialogue that spans thousands of years.

Karnak Temple, the most epic ancient site
The Karnak Temple is the "most epic" ancient site in my memory.
Standing in front of the giant pillar, light shines through between the pillars and fragments of the ruins and onto the ground. Time is dispersed and precipitated in these ruins, and the sense of traveling through thousands of years is attached to the square inches of the ruins.
Looking up, almost every column is covered with reliefs, paintings and hieroglyphic inscriptions. Their presence gives the temple an epic atmosphere. They are flowers blooming in the religious soil of ancient Egypt and a celebration of The poetry of the emperor's achievements is also the mottled accumulation of people's wealth and anointing under the concept of royal supremacy.

Karnak Temple
When I last visited Egypt, I had the opportunity to visit the Karnak Temple in Luxor, one of the greatest temples of ancient Egypt. It was an experience that changed my perspective on the ancient Egyptian civilization.
As soon as I entered the temple, I felt as if I was walking among the remnants of a still-existing civilization. I examined the massive columns, halls, and giant statues.
I admired the splendor and precision of the decorations and ancient Egyptian symbols. It felt like I was hearing the echoes of the voices of ancient priests.
I couldn't believe that humanity was capable of creating such colossal works. I realized the advancement of the Egyptian civilization.
Before leaving, I enjoyed viewing the laser show at the most significant landmarks. This wonderful visit taught me a lot about their culture.
